Most of the super cars i see travelling the nlex are either running 100kph or are carried by car carriers. Heck, there was even a time i saw a porsche running at 80kph. Nilalagpasan lang siya ng mga van. Baka nag e-eco run hehe.

the assumption is, their equipment has only so much memory for x speedsters...?
    heh heh.
No sir. It is banking on the assumption na maraming speeders ang matatag and malalagay kana dun sa ilalim ng list.

I thought that the LTO had already cleaned up their act since the process to get a license was very straightforward and clean when I accompanied my brother to get his license last year. But when it comes to claiming your license from traffic offenses, it's still a breeding ground of corruption.

From the entrance guard, parking guard, tambay outside of the LTO, tambay inside the LTO, all of them tried to offer me a quicker way to get my license. Di ko na daw kailangan pumila.

I said no to all their offers. I was caught for overspeeding, and so I deserve to wait in line and pay the fine (P2,077). No more seminar, but all the waiting took around 5 hours - I was there from 10:30am-3:30pm.

It makes me wonder, ano ba nararating nila sa buhay sa corrupt ways nila? The look they gave me when I said no to their offer reeked of disapproval. Para bang iniisip nilang, "loko loko pala 'to, pwede namang daanin sa mabilis, gusto pa pumila". Well at the end of the day, kahit sinunod ko yung proseso, nakuha ko naman lisensya ko.

Another disappointing thing I noticed - all of the people lining up and claiming their licenses the proper way were blue-collar workers, mostly truck/bus/jeepney drivers. While it's true that they commit the most traffic offenses, imposibleng walang ibang private motorist na nahuli for speeding or whatever violation. Nung nahuli ako I saw the list and there were at least 50 others before me. Pero siyempre, may pera lahat yan. And kung pwedeng bayaran, babayaran nalang.

So we have the case of the poor fixers thinking only through corrupt ways can they make a living, and the rich using their money to skip the process.

I honestly think that most people don't take an active effort towards a corruption-free society. And these people are the same people who blame PNoy for not being able to successfully bring us to "matuwid na daan" after his 6 years. Whatever happened to, "be the change you want to see in this world"?!
bro jut got my license na (last monday). paid 2077 for the speeding ticket. arrived around 10:15am and was done by 5:20pm. i am proud to say I WAITED and endured the long process, and did not succumbed to the fixer offers

Just about the same time frame I spent there a few years ago....

But sabi nya sa bocaue southbound tiyak yun.

Wifey's driver was caught at 120kph in nlex. Usually between 730-930 am sila nag aabang.
I really thought na lalagpas na ako sa tplex before they can complete of their own set-up but was dead wrong.
Ewan ko ba kasi kung bakit lagi akong inaantok with that speed limit up to 110kph.
In my case, sobra pa sa 2k ang damage ko dahil galing pa ako ng La Union just to claim back my dl

nahuli ako kanina sa nlex overspeeding.

i lost my license before so i was able to get a duplicate copy (affidavit of lost). then i found the one that i lost.
i gave that old license sa nlex officer.

Yes it will show up later unless d nila napasok sa system but expect it to be there when you renew.
