I mean blank kase yung plate# sa OR/CR, pero bakit yung iba may virtual plate diba? So it means may plate# indicated na sa OR/CR, right?

mga boss tananong ko lang. naka bili ako ng repo na auto sa banko. ang temporary plate nya is region 1. currently, nasa region 11 ako. sa region 1 ko pa ba kukunin ang plate nito?

Yung mga nakapag register nung bagong labas yung new plates, meron agad assigned plate numbers. Nung hindi na nila kayang mag supply ng plates, hindi na sila nag pre-assign ng plate number.

In our case, my wife & I got our cars at the same month in 2016. A few months after I got my Mazda 3, the SA texted me my assigned plate #. While with my wife’s Innova, up to now wala pa daw assigned plate # as per her SA.

you can go to the LTO and ask for it, po.
in my case, i went to LTO in araneta ave, a few hundred meters from quezon ave, going to del monte ave.
alas, it's on the opposite side, beside the gas station.

READ: LTO ships 1st batch of vehicle plates to Regions starting July

Quezon City, Philippines —The Land Transportation Office (LTO) today said that it has started to ship the first batch of motor vehicle plates produced in its Plate Making Facility in Quezon City.

LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante said that plates registered from 01 July to 31 October 2016 are being circulated to LTO Regional Offices (ROs), by batches, for distribution to the District Offices (DOs), which will then release the plates to vehicle owners.

“The LTO will release the available vehicle plates simultaneously nationwide by first week of July,” Galvante said.

Galvante added that guidelines for distribution will be given by the LTO Central Office.

“The LTO will notify the vehicle owners on the dates they may claim their plates. We ask our clients to wait for their notification so they do not waste their time going to the LTO Office only to be disappointed,” Galvante emphasized.

The LTO will deliver the plates by batch to the ROs as soon as they become available. As of as of June 18, a total of 387,000 pieces of motor vehicle plates have been produced.

“We are continuously finding ways to enhance the plate production capacity,” he added.

On motorcycle plates, Galvante reiterated that there is a pending bill at Congress to design a differently-sized plate.

“We will produce the motorcycle plates as soon as Congress gives the go signal. Motorcycle owners are free to use their motorcycles as long as these are registered, with their respective plates/MV File Numbers displayed,” Galvante assured.

It can be recalled that the LTO inaugurated its own Plate Making Plant last April 24, 2018. The contract for the procurement of 775,000 pairs of motor vehicle plates and 1.7 million pieces of motorcycle plates to address the plate requirements from 01 July 2016 to 31 December 2017 was awarded to Trojan Computer Forms Manufacturing Corporation and JH Tonnjes E.A.S.T. GmbH Joint Venture.

For plates registered before 01 July 2016, the LTO Chief said the agency is awaiting the Commission on Audit (COA) resolution on the disallowance.

The LTO Chief reminds clients not to patronize unauthorized persons who claim they can facilitate the release of the plates for a fee.
