1st LTO renewal after 3 yr registration

Yung sakin, naisip ko sana tinry ko na pumili ng plate ending. Kasi nung binigay ko virtual plate ko sa kanila to be encoded, wala naman hiningi sakin na documentation, parang halos dinikta ko lang sa kanila. After nila encode, mabilis turn around time kasi pagkatext LTO plate ko, lumabas na agad vehicle details ko. Pero prior to them coding it in "no record found" lang nakukuha ko.

Naisip ko habang pauwi, sana pala nangapa ako ng gusto kong last number na wala pa sa system nila. Hehehe

Mine had it empty, both ORCR. Though nakuha ko yun less than a month pagkakuha sa oto. Yung virtual plate # ko naman nakuha ko sa dealer some months before ako magparenew.

After nitong first renew ko, dun sa OR nakalagay na yung virtual plate # na binigay ko, in ABC-1234 format.

Confusing. Had the ORCR din after a month of purchase, empty plate no. Then, eto nag request ako ng updated copy ng ORCR from the bank since it's under a loan only to find out na meron ng plate no. (temp plate?) pero in numeric format lang. Not in ABC-1234 format.

Paano kaya to?

kung mamalasin, there are certain taxes that you will probably be asked to pay, when you buy a diplomatic car..
diplomats and embassies use many types of cars... even hatchbacks.

I was eyeing an old camry before. It looked so fresh and the owner is also from Makati (convenient) But the blue plate turned me off because that probably meant more paperwork.

a relative in QC has a camry. this is what he says.
"i filled up with a thousing bucks of fuel, to fetch my dough-ter from los banos. when we got home round-trip, the low-fuel light was already on. when i did it again the following week, this time using the diesel innova, the needle was on the 1/4 level (good for maybe 100 km more) when we reached home".
