haha! what body part? hassle, have another meeting in a couple of minutes. nakakapagod mentally.


BTT: alam ko na bakit malakas sa gas vios namin. we're doing 8-8.5 km/l lang. nahihilo/nasusuka ako pag sister ko nagdrive. lakas sa apak sa accelerator and sa brakes.

10k pms is around 2750petot at toyota bicutan. Top up lang. Sa 15k pa ako papalit ng oil. Pero di na ako bumili langis kasi ala naman halos nabawas eh.

guys we are buying a used vios 2nd gen 1.5g AT. any tips before buying what to check aside from being flooded how will i know?. and where to we get mekaniko to be sure. haha

^ 2nd gen around year 2008 - 2010 vios yung kaya ng budget. hehe. sayang i saw one sa sulit TOTL 360k year 2011. was sold in a day hindi ko man lang naabutan.

I would like to check on my wife's '05 1.5 G, na kakabili lang niya... wala na kasamang service booklet or car manual.

Is there anywhere I could download the car manual? How about the service booklet? Di ko kasi malaman without it kung ano dapat pa service/cheack at the 50-55,000 km pt. Ayoko naman pa-check/chg lahat ng oils and filters ng sabay-sabay; baka di ko mabayaran!

3 days pa lang ang car, may nakita na akong diprensiyang di binanggit ng seller: sira na yung right side-mirror; di na na-a-adjust from driver's side.

I'm dreading inspecting the spare tire compartment and under the car this weekend.

Try researching on yarisworld. Although di ko sure kung may 1st gen dun. Ang Yaris hatch and 2nd gen Vios kasi, parehas lahat ng parts and electrical eh.

Check mo ilalim ng carpets if it's too clean for its age. Sa amin may alikabok na, pati sa ilalim ng dash. Pag masyadong malinis, there's a good chance na flooded yan, baklas and linis lahat.

Yung mga bolts and nuts sa doors or parts of the dash if nabibilog na, pati sa mga bumpers. Pag ganun baka naaksidente or what. If mababaklas mo yung inner plastic panel ng doors, maigi, para macheck kung lata pa talaga or masilya na. Haha I'm too OC.

Pinakamaganda if kakilala nyo yung bibilhan ng kotse para kahit papaano may background na kayo sa bibilhin nyo. Post ka ulit dito pag nakuha mo na yung 2nd gen, I'll PM something hehe. Guide sa buong 2nd gen.

I'm cruising inside the villamor airbase at 30kph according to my speedo, pero sabi nung speed sensor nila, 26-27kph lang yung speed. I know na hindi ganun ka-accurate yung speedometer natin pero i didn't expect na ganun kalaki yung discrepancy. Siguro dahil nagpalit ako ng 15s at calibrated yung speedometer ko for 14s.

My worry pag nawawala ang manual and service records, tampered mileage. 55,000kms for a 8 year old Vios is quite low; that's 6,000kms a year. Normally pag ganyan, the car should still be fresh with minimal problems if it's cared for.

Since you bought it second hand, best to do a general service, change all the fluids (ATF, oil, PS, brake and coolant) and do a tune-up, change the fuel and air filters, clean the MAF sensor, etc.

Need a little info fellow readers.

Our 2008 Toyota Vios E has a recurring problem in terms of its CD Player a few months ago, we are unable to insert a CD into the player and simply spits it out. CD IN appears in the display. As per friends initial checking a cd may still be inside but cannot be ejected for some reason.

However, a few days ago, I was able to insert a CD then it played. However after I ejected the CD again, it only ejected and the CD IN appears again.

any of you guys ever experience this. Toyota guys told me to bring it to the service and have the entire dashboard removed so they can accurately correct it. If this would be the case, is it possible the head unit is already damaged? Is there an aftermarket replacement for this if ever?
