I upgraded to 185/70R14 on our Vios, para medyo makapal naman yung rubber footprint sa kalsada.

Thank you for the answer. Medyo manipis nga sir, pero ang main concern ko lang po talaga is yung load index na 72. Safe lang po ba para sa Vios?

Had the fan belt of the Vios changed. Damage, P100 labor hehe. Kaya pala DIY pero mas maigi nang sa suki ipagawa. Bando (P450) yung pinalit ko. Yung OEM ok pa raw pero not for long kasi nagsisimula na mag-crack. Also had a tank full of Seaoil 97. Will see how it performs. So far, so good. Similar sa Total Protec yung hatak.

950 OEM sa casa
850 OEM daw pero pag minatch mo sa real OEM eh mag kaiba
350 replacement

Speaking of air filter, may unusual 'tok' sound akong naririnig sa SLEX kagabi sa may bandang air filter. i had to stop before the exit para tignan and nakita ko na nakalimutan ko pa lang i-lock mabuti yung air filter box since i cleaned my air filter last Monday.

Safety is subjective boss. Your car is now running on way too thin tyres, meaning reduced rubber contact area with the road. Drive carefully/slowly on wet roads, and do not make sudden manuevers (you could skid).

Do not worry about the load index, it has its own maximum and mininum parameters (i.e: may tolerable variance yan). Read the tire code link I gave you for your appreciation.

Thank you for the advice and the heads up sir. Main concern ko po talaga tipid sa gas at tipid sa goma.

I really drive slow, maximum 1.5K RPM shift na kaagad ako at pag nag high gear na I'll be coasting at 1K RPM para lang ma maintain ang speed. I hardy reach 60kph on a medium flow of traffic.

Current FC is 18kms/L. At alam ko mag improve pa yan kasi mixed driving yan nung naka 17" pa po ako at nung nagpalit into 14" karga karga po pa yung mga gulong. Napakarga ako ng 300. Distance traveled so far is 110kms. Route San Juan to Binangonan bale dalawang beses na balikan na yan at may natira pa.

Though experiment lang naman po ito.Pag may change na kuha na ako nung stock ng vios na 175-65-14

20T KM? sabi kasi sa user's manual, pag severe condition due to dusty environment is 3 months or 3000KM which ever comes first, which in my 1 year of use on this 2NZ-FE in metro manila use is totoo palitin na talaga...

a dirty air filter kase has 10% impact on fuel consumption.

how do i test it? place air filter on sunlight, measure air being blocked if light wont pass thru anymore.

Pero ok lang, dami ko rin beses nag-5k rpm shifting from first gear hanggang sa umabot ako ng 140-145kph...

Ang sarap ng feeling kapag kaka-italian tune up lang ng kotse. Parang hinde sakal yun performance.

how do i test it? place air filter on sunlight, measure air being blocked if light wont pass thru anymore.

I replace the filter when the inner side (going into engine) gets dark already. In my case, its about 4 months (+/-). I would usually have a gas boy blow compressed air right thru it (from the inner side) so as larger dust particles are cleared.

BTW may nabasa ako na method para din ma train yung ECU for more responsive throttle.

Turn the ignition to ON position but don't start the car. Wait for the airbags to unlit. Press the gas pedal all the way then release right away when it reaches the floor.

Turn off. Then turn it back on normally to start the car.

Parang naramdaman ko nga yung changes or maybe placebo effect lang :D

Yun pong experience ko, cruising along NLEX Balagtas to Bocaue Toll at 100kph, 5th gear, 3K RPM. Second or third time ko na to napansin sa 1.3G ko...

Yep, pero hinde ko naman pinapaabot redline. Roughly 5T Rpm lang.

Parati naman kasi ako nattraffic so I guess ok lang sya hatawin every now and then.

Ginawa ko yan ECU relearning, effective naman lalo na nung hinde pa ko sanay sa clutch ng vios nung binili sya last year

Try mo sir mag-XCS para 95 octane, or Shell FS.. Hanap ka lang gas na hiyang yun vios, so far hinde sya ok with petron xtra unleaded.

Yung 3k rpm 100kph normal naman yan

Yung redline once in a while ok lang. Wag lang nakababad sa redline all the time
