per my auto experience, as long as hindi na discharge ang battery and the system voltage hovers 13.4 volts.. its good..

if voltage while idling is =<13V.. yan, may problem na ang system, either loose connection or the alternator is getting weak..

yung 14volts is usually the alternator's output if the battery is severely discharged where it barely started the car..

usually when you use accessories like radio for extended period with the engine off.

share ko lang din experience ko with alternators.. may diesel van kami dati na every time we use it, after 1 hour of driving eh na discharge yung battery.. kaya pag dating ng tatay ko sa office nila, he will charge it using a 220v charger.. then go home again with the battery discharged..

every time na dadalhin namin sa auto electrical shop, pag check nila, ok naman ang alternator charge.. 13.5V or higher pa nga.. medyo matagal tagal din na ganun yun.. pinalitan ko na fuse, wires, battery terminal.. ganun pa din..

until napag tripan ko buksan yung alternator.. upon closer inspection ko sa magnifying lens, ayun may mga crack pala yung solder ng diodes.. although may voltage, since loose yung diodes, nag intermittent on/off sya na hindi namin mahuli sa tester..

dinala ko dun sa isang electrical shop na may heavy duty soldering gun.. problem solved!

upon starting from cold, the alternator's output was low, but would normalize only after kadyoting the silinyador to higher rpm.
after that, ok na.

I think that's a very good price already even with it being R15.

Yup, medyo mahal talaga outside the metro. SRP nung innova nga at least 50k yong difference. The innova we have we actually took out from Toyota Bicutan

I'm using one that's outside your preference. I got one of those generic Chinese android units since September. No issues so far for what I need it for.

Not promoting but I got the S7 model without the 360 camera.

That I miss as well. Although I get by using the steering wheel volume controls and the head unit has a mute button if I need to silent the system quickly.

Still, a rotary volume knob is more natural. Or more like nakasanayan siguro.

i agree. i would still like a rotary button even if just for vol. control only. however yung mga volume rotary ng avt head unit ka sumpa sumpa. bago pa lang nag loloko na. talon ng talon pag pinihit minsan naman di na gumagana talaga. yung sa fortuner namin napalitan ang buong radio noong under warranty pa pero ngayon nag loloko nanaman uli. tumatalon.

while far from mainstream i do not consider joying one of those far lesser brand that feels built to a cheap budget. try to get feedback po you may like what it brings to the table.

There's also the Astral head units that is making rounds in fb car groups recently. Even some celebrities had their car installed one of these.

July 2021 innova E Diesel, nung bnew namin kinuha ito sa casa eh 1st day pa lang off center na ang steering wheel, pag ginitna mo or kaya binitawan ang steering wheel eh pupunta yung sasakyan sa kanan kaya sinoli agad namin sa casa, inayos nila pero sa kaliwa naman siya pumupunta pag naka gitna ang steering wheel o binitawan, kaya sinoli ulet namin at inayos nila ulet at nag oks na...

after 7 months and 10,000 KM ODO, pina tire rotation, balance and wheel alignment check sa customer cradle las pinas, may inajust sila sa TOE. pero back to day 1 ulet siya na off center ang steering wheel, pag ginitna mo eh sa kanan siya pumupunta ang sasakyan, pag binitawan mo eh pupunta din siya sa kanan

ano kaya problema nito??? parang may nabasa ako na iba ang alignment kapag may traction control na gen 2.5 (GUN143 chassis?)

hindi ko na ito pwede i balik sa casa kase naka sulat sa warranty booklet na hindi kasama ang wheel alignment sa warranty, ibalik ko na lang ulet sa last touch
