Try to clear the DTC first and see if it comes back. If it doesn't, it may just have been a transient/temporary event.

If the DTC pops up again, then there must surely be something wrong. It may be as simple us a stuck bypass valve.

I cleared the fault code but the Check Engine light came back. The weird thing is that if I start the car and drive while the gear shifter is on "2" of "L", the check engine light does not get activated no matter how fast or how far I drive. However, If the shifter is put on "3" of "D", the check engine light comes on once I hit a speed of about 40kph. I guess it's about time to see a mechanic. Thanks for the input.
