Yung sa akin sound lang. Di nailaw ng matagal yung airbag indicator.
Actually checking the airbag was supposed to be my 3rd work order pero parang na solved yung problema. Di na nag occur uli.
First na ginawa ko was nag upgrade ng tire size to 205-70/R15 using Yokohama Geolandar series.
Second was changed my engine oil to full synthetic.
After those changes, di na nag occur ulit yung sound.
I'll have the chance to verify if the unusual sound is gone paghahataw ulit sa expressway on the way North.
Planning to change/upgrade my tire size too to 205-70/R15 from 65. Can it be used to stock mags, Sir? May I request for an actual photo? & may I ask for a cheaper but dependable brand of tire I only have limited budget of 3k maximum per tire (+spare). Thank u!

By the way, 2014 model innova here in case it needs to mention.

Use the following tool to compare 65 and 70 profile tires. Tire Size Comparison

With a 205mm width and 15-inch rim size, switching from a 65-profile to a 70-profile tire will make the vehicle 0.4 inches taller. The overall diameter of the 70-profile tire will be 0.8 inches bigger than the 65-profile tire.

You can reuse the original rim.

Wow, never had fun comparing the 2 tires! So explanatory, it's fascinating. Kudos to you, Sir!

You might as well suggest a cheap but worthy brand of tire. Hehe nilubos na

    most studs are replaceable, po.
naka-turnilyo o naka-saksak sila sa hub, from behind.
any decent shop can do it.

i'd replace just what is broken, po. no need to replace or repair them by pairs.
thanks dr. d for the added knowledge

    Yes, stock rim ginamit ko.

Sorry, I have no current photo of the set up but there is enough clearance para di tatama sa sidings. I've blitz pass the expressway and up the winding country road and back. Di naman sumayad yung gulong sa sidings.

I cannot make any recommendation on other tire brands of 205-70/R15 because this is the first time I tried this set up.
Got my tires on promo buy 3 take 1 free for 15K.

The tires I've already tried on the stock set up of 205-65/R15 was the Yokohama Apec, Thunderer Mach II and GT Champiro. Of the three, The Yokohama was the most reliable and sturdy. Bumukol yung Thunderer sa NLEX. Yung Champiro nagkakabitakbitak naman kaya nag Yokohama na ako, tsaka made in the Philippines yung Yoko. Patronize your own baga.

Eto yung observations ko sa bagong set up:
First, mas smoother yung ride. The bigger tires are better at dampening road imperfections lalo na sa rough/unpaved roads.

Kaya lang may megative impact sa speedometer and odometer since they were caliberated to sync with 205-65/.
Halimbawa yung speedometer reading is 100kph, yung actual speed is about 105kph kaya be aware sa highway baka ma overspeeding. Ganon din sa odo.

Other than those, I'm very happy with my tire upgrade.

anong size ng windshield wipers natin? parang 24" and 16" if i am correct. eh yung sa likod? this is the first gen innova ah.

Kaya instead of 2,329.06 naging 2,429.06 registration fees ko 2010 innova diesel.

ah ok... good to know. thanks.
