And Toyota is still not telling their unsuspecting customers until now...

My sister got her Innova last week and it was us who opened up the discussion to them for a spare tyre lock....

A couple of friends a few years ago who bought their Fortuners (same issue with the spare tyre not being secured) lost their spare tyres just a few days after they got their rides...

While we were finishing up the paperwork to make a deposit, as I was finalizing stuff like tint choice and accessories to be pre-installed, the sales rep recommended to have a spare tire lock installed. It didn't take me two seconds before I okey'd it. I know about this vulnerability and it's not limited to Toyota, just to be fair. Everything is stolen nowadays, from side mirrors, to rubber roof strips, to whole lamp assemblies, etc., a dangling spare tire is no different.

Wala naman akong naririnig so far. Around that speed tahimik ang makina kasi 2k rpm lang ako. Pag 90-100, noisy than usual pero tolerable naman. Pero pag 110 up, parang may konting vibration na akong nafefeel sa manibela... Guys, is this normal? D4D engine. Thanks

At around 80kph parang may sipol din ung 3 month old innova d4d engine nmin. Sudden burst din sa speed. Akala ko ako lang nakaka notice nito. Same scenario din kay jovz. I think its the turbo.

Noted sir. Ni-set ko all 4 tires at 35 psi since fully loaded ako that time with 7 adults and 4 kids + luggage. Will check again after tire replacement...ipabalance ko na rin para sure. Thanks

ANybody here have replaced their Innova D4D Automatic Transmission Fluid strainer/filter? After replacement did you feel sudden changes or none at all? Thanks for replies....
