yes, better fuel consumption depending on the settings.. that's why its a throttle controller..

there is a setting called normal which is same as original setting.. then there are +/- settings for better response/performance or better fuel consumption..

Earlier at the parking tower, as a standard procedure of the security to conduct inspection of your vehicle i unlock the car door for him to open the rear door and inspect. But when he opened the rear door, the door indicator lit up but he wasn't able to open the rear door as sometimes you need an "extra pull" to open the rear door especially when it is cold inside your vehicle. I got down the vehicle when it was already park and to my surprise the rear door wouldn't open. I lock and unlock the car door using the remote key and drivers switch but still the rear door latch woudn't open no matter how hard i pull it. I cannot lock the vehicle using the remote key as the door indicator was lit. Anyone encountered the same problem? Seems like the rear door has stuck up.

im not sure if you are familiar with the settings that SB have.. of course if the setting is set for better performance, the trade off is the fuel consumption..

SB has 3 settings, namely, eco mode, normal and sports mode.. eco mode and sports mode have if im not mistaken, 3 or 5 levels of settings to chose from.. if you go for sports mode, it translates to higher fuel consumption and eco mode is the opposite.. i guess eco mode and sports mode settings are self explanatory..

anu ang magandang brand of shock absorbers for the 1st gen innova? i need to replace the front and rear. any brands that you can suggest tnx?

Surprisingly biglang nag bukas ung rear door kinabukasan kaya na i-hila ko and okay na when i try to open and close it repeatedly. I suspect that during the time the security personnel opened the rear door and then time the vehicle was park, vehicle movement might have cause the rear door to lock up itself. Medyo weird lang nangyari.

My present audio setup for my Innova vvti 2008 is still the 2din stock audio (no video). Now 7inch tablets are quite cheap nowadays. Would a 7inch tab fit the audio compartment of innova? How about the audio connections or stock speakers of the car would it be workable?

Not advisable, tablet are not design for car use, it's component will be fry on extreme heat of dashboard.
Those stereo for cars are design for dashboard heat to last long.

innovas are rear-wheel drive. they have no CV joint either up front or at the rear..

the sound appearing during change of direction, does suggest bearing.. either the bearings are perished, or the bearing bolt is not tightened enough..

so, have you also experienced horror story from rapide, or campfire tales...?

you're right sir. it's a wheel bearing. hindi na po ako nakalabas ng garahe last tuesday, na stuck na po. i asked the neighborhood mechanic to work on it. wasak yung bearing ..

Nung nagpa PMS ako sa Toyota commonwealth last year (november) mayroon silang ganun (same as with the Innova LE pero ibang color) it was made by ROTA. 6,400 / piece, centercaps and valve stem not yet included pa. Brand new un sir.

My wife just put a nice little dimple and a few scratches on the front left bumper of our new (barely 500 km on the odometer) Innova . Buti na lang hindi pa ako nagpapakabit ng fog lamps kasi may tama rin yung black plastic insert where the fog lamp is supposed to be. Called my SA 4-5k daw participation. Saan kaya puwede spot repair? May suggestions ba kayo? I searched Tsikot and a few were suggesting ma hintayin na lang daw na madagdagan yung scratches saka ipagawa yung buong bumper.
