Electronic gadgets seldom fail nowadays,- so warranty should not be a big concern.

So, if you have the means, buy it from the US (ako amazon),- typical cost is about $100 (P4300) - at least for the units I bought...

I have 3 Garmin GPSs (2-4.3inch; 1-5in) for our use,- with the oldest probably 8-10 years old,- all are in working condition.

Madali lang ang Philippine map... Maraming sources..... May not be the latest and the greatest, but they are very functional.

I bought a Nuvi 1300 and 50 in the US last year for USD 100 each. Still working up to now. Bihira ko itmagamit di kasi lagi pumupunta sa unfamiliar places. But it is good to have one and never need it. Dati nga naka Nuvi 265W lang ako e. These are basic models. You won't need the extra features.

Next step is to register and download a demo map at Roadguide (Philippines Gps Map).

Bottomline. Get the basic ones for USD 100++. These things rarely fail. Or better yet, buy 2. Local distributors and sellers in sulit sell them for twice or thrice that amount.

Nakakainis kasi pag biglang may sumisingit na motor from full stop, di mahabol ng biglaan.

I think sa D4-D lang yan. Pag VVti accelerate na yan agad.

Vvti lang ang malaki ang delay since 3000rpm+ pa ang torque range nya. D4d, khit me turbo lag, mababa ang torque range nya, nasa 1500rpm lang ata.

What I mean ay yung pag saby ng revolution ng engine sa pag apak sa accelerator. Parang delay sa vvti.

Ys most of the time naka D ako, since I was just driving along a relatively flat street. Its doing fine but seems, slower acceleration coming from very slow or complete stops. Checked the ATF and its at full level naman.

Basic models lang ang kinukuha ko,- kasi iyong ibang mga features ng GPS ay hindi supported ng Pilipinas.... (like traffic condition et al).

Mas mura sa US in general kaya doon ako nabili ng electronic gadgets... Around $100 and so P4300 lang ang GPS (at kumpleto ang accessories)... Dito yata, at least P6,000(?)....

I have no issue with the acceleration of our AT Innova... Tapakan mo lang ng todo ang gasolina and it will do the drive for you....

Ano ba ang gusto mong ma-achieve, bro?

that's what the Electronic Throttle Controller does.. it removes the delay in engine response..

planning to install in my unit.. this is very useful when overtaking or moving uphill from full stop..

sa ngayon nabibitin ako when overtaking with long vehicle or moving uphill from full stop..

pero dun sa mga sumisingit.. hinahayaan ko na lang sumingit kesa naman sa matsambahan pang masagi pa.. mas sakit sa ulo pa yun..

btw.. my unit is 2013 AT VVTi

He drove through a flooded street and he was having problems with the "hatak." Worst effect seems to be gone but there appears to be some noticeable problrms still.

Have you checked your brakes? since nasabak ka sa baha baka may na damage na part sa brakes at parang naninikit (kung un nga ang tamang term).

normally after crossing a heavily long flooded st. i would pump the brakes but i see no reason na maninikit ung brake pads sa rotor.

Technically dapat nga dudulas siya kasi basa, pero I'm talking about other parts that may be damaged that can result in semi-stuck up'ed brakes. - kaya pedeng eto ang reason kung bakit parang iba ang hatak ng innova nya - kaya pigil.

Hindi didikit yung rotor dahil sa baha, yung piston ng caliper brakes ang mag stick. Kaya baka nag stick yun, kapag lumusong ka sa baha make sure na pag kauwi mo, spray ka ng tubig sa mga gulong mo ang brakes, isama mo na rin ang power steering, yung rack and pinion.

Or kung sinisipag ka, yung buong pang ilalim.
