With the techstream, maybe you can compare the valuesof a problematic innova with a bnew same model version. then youl know if something is out of the norm.

What brand of battery are you using? I used Gold Motolite but after 1 year, it gave up. Can anyone suggest a better replacement?

You can use also techstream to measure your average fuel consumption and instantaneous consumption, your actual speed and average speed.

Motolite Gold is one of the best, so baka there is something wrong sa sasakyan mo kaya bumigay within a year.

green battery Excel motolite... 2 years warranty.

Try Amaron battery. Pero kung 1yr pa lang may warranty pa yan sir.

1 year? it might be a defective unit. it might still be under warranty. bring it back to the store. you might be in for a brand new replacement..
another possitility is, your charging system is defective. my innova's alternator developed a bearing failure; my battery died due to under-charging. curiously, the idiot warning light didn't light up... alas, the battery warranty does not hold up for alternator problems.. but if this is the case, then all your gold needs is a charge..

I'm surprise that the battery indicator didn't show-up given that the alternator is having problem. It will also produce an unusual noise if the bearing or the pulley is the culprit.

I was driving this afternoon just along quirino ave just after turning right from Osmena BLVd (southexpressway ), and drove through a not so deep flooded area. A few meters away after, I noticed the Innova ( G) could not accelerate and can only drive forward at around 10 kph and barely tackled Nagtahan bridge. Could this be that the computer got wet or a clutch problem?

A few meters away after, I noticed the Innova ( G) could not accelerate and can only drive forward at around 10 kph and barely tackled Nagtahan bridge. Could this be that the computer got wet or a clutch problem?

Imposible naman paps na ecu problem yan, kasi nasa loob ng sasakyan ang ecu.

Di kaya nagstick ang preno mo? Yung fuel and air filter mo, baka yun rin ang problem.
