not used to diesels. previous rides are gas engines. thanks
Diesel engine whether new or used would still spew black soot due to unburned carbons. Diesel has heavy particular that emits black soot when burned. Just for reference, Kerosene is much cleaner than diesel but still emits black soot when ignited.

How does diesel darken your oil? microscopic size soot clings to your engine cylinder walls and finds it way seeping through your piston rings and all the way to your oil system. I have use diesel fed engines before, even right after a change oil and few minutes of engine run, the oil will be darken immediately.

Why does gasoline oil does darken not much as compared to diesel fed engine? Simply gasoline emits very very less soot when ignited.

Sa diesel abnormal yung sobrang black soot even in idling or high rev. Sa mga CRDi hindi pa rin totally addressed yung incomplete diesel burn even Toyota has incorporate EGR, marami pa rin ang black soot, simply diesel will emit black soot no matter how you burn it.

Uwi muna tapos kunin yong isa pang key o punta ulit sa mall at bili ng new battery for the key?

    1. You can open the door by using the remote key manually, alarm will trigger the sound horn.
    2. open the hood and pull one of the wire socket sa alarm horn.
    3. start the engine and drive home (naka - hazard ka nga lang)

Ilan na ODO mo? Medyo matigas nga clutch ng Innova base on my observation.

Just put it sa D when going up to baguio. Going down you need to use the 3-2-1 for engine braking

Its better sir in your next PMS try looking for other options. Toyota commonwealth or other dealership that is near your place or workplace. For us, those items are non essential for a regular PMS.

my 2005 casa-installed alarm has a bypass system. i can use the valet key or the owner's key with dead alarm battery, to get into the car. the alarm will trigger, and i have to do "a few maneuvers" to quiet the alarm and start the engine. it's in my alarm's instruction manual. maybe yours has, too.
i believe the valet key is for the valet to park the car. when the valet exits and closes the door, the car automatically locks the doors and the alarm is set. the valet can get back inside using the valet key, but he can't turn off the ensuing alarm. he'll have to get a hold of your owner's key to get in without triggering the alarm. but can he drive away with the car when you first exchange seats with him? alas, yess..

You should have insisted that you dont want to avail of those items. They are not required and are useless, really. Ask them to show you where in the manual does it state you need to use those things. You've been had.

Lucky if you those kind of alarm na kahit putulin mo yung negative ng alarm horn e mag start pa. other security alarm wont allow those kind of maneuver. I experienced once sa kapitbahay namin. tagal nag aalarm nung auto nawalan ng bat. ung remote, ginwa nya pinutol nya yung negative ng alarm horn and tried to star it. ayaw nya mag crank.. pinuntahan ko. maynakita ako red button sa may alrm module. same set up to mine kaya napa start ko using the vallet key.

    Thanks Doc D.

Bukas pinto, tutunog ang alarm, turn ignition on tapos pindutin ang secret/hidden button o switch to disable the alarm.

If the key fob has ran out of battery and can't be used to disarm the TVSS, one of method that I have either heard or read about is:

    1. Manually unlock the door (driver's)
    2. Open the door and the alarm will sound. Insert key into ignition switch.
    3. Turn key from "off" position to "on" posistion and vice versa, several times (not sure how many times)
    4. Siren will supposedly turn off.

    Try it !
