TMPI style - slowly bring out the goodies little by little each year. Generally, Toyotas are most loaded at the end life of the model ie. Vios SE Limited, 1.3G, 1.3 J Limited, etc..

All these upgrades are a sure sign that this Innova is really on its last leg now.

mga sir tanong lang..dati kasi may sasakyan ako mazda 323 pag aalis ako pinapacheck sa akin lagi yung tubig nun baka daw kasi matuyuan at mag over heat... nung bumili kasi ako ng innova tinanong ko dun sa ahente kung san tutubigan ung makina..natawa ung SA sabi naku sir di na po tinutubigan yung mga makina ngayon yung mga luma lang po.so ang tanong ko wala na ba talagang ilalagay na tubig? pasensya noob thanks and more power

coolant po ang nilalagay sa radiator pwede namn po distilled water ...paki check po nang owners manual nyo nandun po yung info na hinahanap nyo sir ;)

Just monitor the coolant reservoir when the engine is still cold (not yet started) in the morning. Level should be near "high or full" line. Even then the level will not go down significantly. If there is a need to fill up everyday then its a sign of leakage in the system.

Note: Coolant level goes up after the vehicle has been started up and used.even on short trips.

Only use the pink colored coolant for top up. Don't top up with water as this dilutes the coolant.

Exactly! 2004 pa in Thailand and Indonesia. Dito sa pina since 2005.

Feeling ko next year 2014 or 2015 bago ilalabas ang all new body innova dito,

Only use the pink colored coolant for top up. Don't top up with water as this dilutes the coolant.

i was told by a mechanic not to use coolant. nakakasira lang daw ng radiator. water is enough.

Some of the properties found in coolant includes anti rust, anti boil and anti freeze. Water alone couldn't do that.

I also hear this from time to time, usually from old school mechanics.

There is also a reason why auto manufacturers use coolant (instead of just water) as their factory fill for all the radiators that they use/produce.

kaya advice ng mechanic na wag lagyan coolant para di sila mawalan customer, plain water more prone to rust so babalik ka ulit sa kanila hehe.

You can buy the pre-mixed coolant sa casa. The manual will have information on total capacity, tingnan mo na lang.

gud pm. un nga rin ang sabi sa akin n nag palit ako ng water pump un raw ang cause kaya nag leak. pink coolant p rin ang gamit ko. BTW bro, ask ko rin ung check engine kung na experience mo n sa innova mo? pls. advise

NOT pure. It should be PREMIXED (meaning it has the right ratio of pure coolant mixed with distilled water mixed together from the factory).

I just buy the Toyota labelled premixed coolant from the casa. A small jug will last you a long time (provided your vehicle doesn't suddenly develop a leak).

CEL or Check Engine Light always "on" could mean a lot of things. It is better to take it to the CASA and have them diagnose.
