wala po date warranty booklet. delivery receipt and invoice ay nakapangalan sa akin. ganito kasi nangyari. my auto loan was approved at PS bank. then i choosed Norcar allied motors to supply the unit since they have more freebies and bigger discount compared to toyota baguio. since wala yong preferred color ko na white sa norcar, naghanap norcar ng white available unit and makati has it so galing toyota makati yong unit na na deliver kay norcar then norcar prepared the invoice and Delivery receipt to me. after 1 week i was trying to read the manual and that was the only time i discovered na may nakapangalan na ibang tayo sa warranty card with the same unit specification. i am worried na baka yong unit na nakuha ko ay binigay sa ibang tao previously then binalik for some reason tapos yon yong binigay sa akin. lalo na at may white smoke sa innova every morning for the first 2 kilometers na takbo ko. then after that okay na wala na smoke pag normal temperature na makina. i dont know if this is normal. tanungin ko pa sa toyota.

that the warranty booklet has the same ID numbers as your car's, means that the booklet properly belongs to that car. why another person's name is on it and not yours, is something the casa has to explain. if it were me, i'd ask the casa for a written explanation. ideally, only your name (the buyer) should appear on that paper... i think your suspicion may be right..
if you sell your car within the warranty period, you may get into some difficulty because of that name...

btw, you're from baguio? is it possible that the white smoke is just water vapor?

ano po ba ma vovoid kung mag upgrade ng head unit sa labas at hinde sa casa? totoo bang ma vovoid un buong electrical sa oto?

ang mahal daw kasi ng headunit with gps and rear camera sa casa. abot 50k+ sa labas nasa 25k lang set na.ang laki din kasi ng difference. kaya nag iisip un friend ko kung sa labas nalang niya pagawa un headunit upgrade.

Yup Void ang electrical warranty as if sa labas ng casa ka nag install ng HU... ok lang naman mag pa install sa labas just make sure na competent at maaus yung shop na pag iinstallan mo para iwas aberya sa electricals HTH ;)

Sir nangyari na sa akin yan dati pero di sa Innova. Sir check mo young latch baka di naka-open. pag inangat mo and hood mo dapat yung latch ng hood mo eh nasa taas and opening ready to receive yung protruding part ng hood. Kung di naka-open, use your screwdriver sungkitin mo lang pamaas para bumukas. Or try mo hilahin yung pang-open ng hood sa loob. Kaya di sumasara yan kasi naka-close yan.
