Oh well,- underrated kasi ang mga iyan, bro.

Compared with our 14-year old van,- hangga ngayon walang problema sa rear door kapag binuksan,......

Pag mahirap buksan/i-angat rear door, sira na ang isang hydraulic stay/lifter. Isolation ginagawa sa casa tinatanggal muna isang side then test lifting the door.

We intend to purchase an Innova E model with auto transmission.

Which is better the diesel D4D or the Gasoline-fed VVTi variant?

Is the Toyota D4D engine still suffering from choking and hard start problem?

    TIA

Diesel cost Php 60,000 more than a similarly equipped gas powered.

Depends on your needs. If you easily cover 10,000 kms + annually, better go with the diesel.

For long term, get a VVTI. D4D, diesel engines will need a lot of maintenance after 80-100K. calibration, timing belt, SCV, fuel pump. If you have a driver, go with D4D. If you're the one driving, go with VVTI. VVTi has no timing belt and no worry for dirty fuel(no need to change fuel filter frequently). But if you do mind the price of gasoline and use more than 10K per year, go with the D4D. D4D has timing belt, needs to have clean diesel fuel, change fuel filter every 10K, high resale value. VVTI has timing chain, can go 10K oil change with synthetic, low resale value. Our A/T gas gets 6-7 KpL makati, ortigas city driving. NLEX going to clark, SLEX going to tagaytay 10-12 KpL. No major problems so far after almost 3 years and 35Kilometers.

Thanks bro! lubricate ko muna hinges and see if it will work. If not then, sa hydraulic lifter na nga ang problema although hindi pa naman ganon ka critical. Pag hirap na talaga bumukas, then I will have it replaced na. 1 set yan pag binili?

hindi an nilalagan ng langis or an lubrication...once ndi na mganda kung magfunction an,sira na yan same as mga equipment na ganan ang parts ecept for heav equipment na pede mo taaga iparecondition ang cylinder...pwede rin 1pc pero cheaper if pair bibilhin.

Depends on your need. If you will be carrying many passengers all the time then go for D4-D. If not, then VVTi should suffice. AFAIK, the choking problem of D4-D has already been resolved.

Yes, I think it is covered. Call your insurance para magawa na yan.

Saang portion ba? Tatlong portion kasi yan, the main wiring harness from the cabin, left sensor and right sensor. Mine was damaged by the dog sa main harness three times!!! DIY ko lang ang repair (alaktrician ini.) pero I already have a brand new harness that I bought from casa na nakaready just in case I really need to replace. Php 4K+ ang price. Kung ito lang damage baka di mo maclaim because of your participation.
