for me ganyan din napansin ko nung una pa yung innova ko, feel ko underpowered pero sige lang, maganit pa segunyal nyan or pistons kasi bago pa, antayin mo maka 10k kilometers yan ganda na ng takbo nyan, mabilis ang vvti.

May new observations pa ako baka makatulong din kayo n2:

1) at very low speed, pag kumabig ako at binalik ko yung steering wheel, may niririnig akong tunog na parang may umikot na gear or something. normal lang ba to? dahil ba to sa power steering?

2) sa left side ng dashboard, lagi akong may naririnig na click sound na madalas ang interval. normal lang ba to? sa aircon thermostat ba to? pero kung aircon thermostat, 24 degrees lang naman setting ko. ginawa kong 28 degrees, medyo madalas pa rin ang click. tipong every 30 seconds.

Got my Innova G A/T VVTi two weeks ago from Toyota Pasig also uisng bank P.O for the 60% balance. Discount was 50k. I went to other dealers (mga 4 other dealers) that time din and eto na yung pinakamalaki na nakuha ko. Nag-avail din ako nung summer promo or loyalty promo kaya cguro umabot ng 50k. 1) Wala akong naririnig na anumang sound when driving at slow speed sa steering. Hindi kaya yung naririnig mo e yung sa umpisa ng pagmove ng kotse? Kung ganito yung sitwasyon eh dahil yon sa ABS at normal lang sya.
2. Baka ito yung magnetic clutch ng aircon. Dahil tahimik ang gas baka mas discernible sa loob ng sasakyan. Ang gawin mo, obserbahan mo yung kotse sa labas sa harap habang tumatakbo yung makina at nakaon ang aircon. Maririnig mo yung click ng aircon magnetic clutch. Regular yan magon off ang clutch especially mababa lang ang setting mo sa 24 deg. Kung alanganin ka sa mga tunog then dalhin mo sa casa at ipacheck mo sakanila para sure ka na walang problema ang kotse.

Thanks sir, kaso sagad na sa limit ng car facility (660K + 20% equity). unless mabigyan ng 76K na discount witch is I think hindi applicable sa bagong labas na innova. and besides napag desisyunan narin namin to get the VVTi variant since d naman cy mashado magagamit. as per computation, based on our monthly milage & current fuel price. mga 3-4 years pa bago namin ma offset ung 55K difference ng D4D and VVTi variant - thats for fuel cost alone. wala pa ung maintenance sa computation. We just need a bigger car para naman d hapit sa space at komportable ang byahe lalo na pag malayuan and marami ang sakay. We still intend to keep our very reliable 20 year old corolla ü

Agree with you in that regards, bro...

Maintenance cost between diesel and gasoline vehicles are not that far apart these days....

My Innova G A/T Gas is now 1 week old and I took her to subic for my break in. A couple of observations:

1) I found out that my steering wheel is misaligned. I am driving straight but the spoke of the steering rod is not horizontally levelled. It is off by about 5 to 10 degrees.

2) I feel that the engine is exerting a lot of effort just to get the car moving. When I reach 100 kph, the accelerator is already pushed about three-fourths full and I hear the engine revving hard. I don't feel this in my 1.6 Altis or my 1.5 Avanza. It seems as if the Innova is very heavy and the engine is small. Is there something wrong with my car? Or normal lang ba to? Nakikita ko naman yugn ibang Innova na inoovertakan ako at mabilis. I don't know though kung Diesel or Gas sila kasi no way of knowing yata in older Innova models. Di nakasulat kung 2.0 or 2.5. SA 2012 nakasulat na kasi.

RE number 2: break in period pa kasi siguro. try mo observe pag change oil mo ng 1k PMS kung ganyan pa din, pag ganyan pa din, iba na yun. :D

katulad ng innova namen di naka-align properly yung steering wheel, dyahe kasi pa-align ang tagal gagawin samen naman konti lang pagka-misalign nya naka-left ng konti pag straight ang wheels...

Try niyo rin sir to do the proper break-in. Hinde na tama yung sinasabi ng CASA na under 80kph.

Whenever possible, speed up to 100-140kph. At least mabatak na yung engine & masanay na para rin maka-breathe ng mas maayos.

Will result to good FC & good engine response. Just don't rev it up until 4000rpm.

Sir laserbim, normal lang yang click sound ng aircon sa innova near left side. Ganun din innova ko akala ko nga may poblema pero ganun po talaga. Sa magnetic clutch ng aircon yan and there is no way mawala yung click na sound , yung new fortuner namin may click na sound din similar sa innova sir so dont worry about that

And by the way yung ndi pantay ang alignment mo sa innova is because baka mass production yung car kaya ganun. Yung innova ko din binili ko one year ago ndi din pantay steering wheel so i have it fixed under warranty sa toyota manila bay, ang ginawa nila, sa tabi lang nila ginawa they just called a mekaniko and adjust the tie rods (ndi na inakyat car ko sa lifter ) then naging gitna na steering wheel ko. Up to now 1 year na and 7000kms our innova runs very straight and good. Ang bilis pa! Diesel V pala sa amin sir

Ask ko lang, how do you properly REMOVE PLASTIC ACCESSORIES like CHROME DOOR HANDLE ATTACHMENTS, CHROME SIDE MIRROR ATTACHMENTS and DOOR MOLDINGS?

Yung binili kasi naming innnova J from a family friend has all these accessories on it. I want to make it look the way the Innova J should be...BLACK side mirrors and BLACK door handles. Plus PLAIN LANG YUNG DOOR...walang side molding.

As we all know the innova J has a plain appearance compared to the G variant. Ang question ko, how do you remove PLASTIC CHROME accessories on the door handles etc etc? The innova I acquired last month, the previous owner turned it into a PSEUDO-G Innova with all the CHROME attachments..Any advice on how to get these accessories OFF my car? Nagmumukhang bakya tuloy eh...

Wow! Exactly the same problem that I have. Coming from a stop position then you press lightly on the accelerator to move...then there! you will hear a rattling sound in the dashboard. Although hindi parang coin ang tunog. Parang sloghtly lower tone ang naririnig ko like doog doog doog doog doog doog. pero hindi sya consistent lumalabas. parang pag uphill or tipong mabigat ang karga.

anybody knows the root cause and solution?

wala pa akong 1thou km pero balak ko ireklamo pagkapasok sa casa.
