Just had my 1st 1k service at toyota otis. 2,420 for 7 liters of regular oil (15w-40) and an oil filter

im having issues with the dip stick not accommodating the 6.9L of change oil with the PMS so I requested to only pour the 6.5L of oil and i will add the rest of 400mL, voila the dip stick now *full unlike the 6.9L change oil the dip stick measures it overfill and will produce nasty blow-by oil to your turbo as I observed after 1k PMS.
Anyone experiencing that 6.9L of oil measuring to the stick an OVERFILL?

talagang ang barat ng toyota, di man lang isinama ang immobilizer sa G variant, almost useless ang alarm ng TVSS pang keyless entry lang halos gamit.

sa banawe may mga nagkakabit ng immobilizer sa mga alarm system for 500pesos depende kung supported ng immobilizer ang alarm system na galing sa casa

yup lagpas, 2x PMS na nangyari yan nag experiment lang ako baka mali lang maglagay sa casa kaya request ko ako na lang magpuno, 6.5L lang ay max na sa dip stick ng innova namen. Pag yung regular na 6.9L napansin ko napupunta lang sa blow-by, naalala ko kasi nung may nagpost ng pic Re: that hose and oil leakage meron din sakin konti leakage sa PCV(decompression?)pag 6.9L ang nilagay at hataw sa NLEX.
Baka ganito din yung nangyari yung isang ka-innova naten sa nagreklamo toyota cabanatuan (same casakami) overfill daw nangyari sa PMS nya at nagalit sa casa.
Meron ba dito nag pa change-oil sa labas ng casa yung wala na sa warranty kung talagang 6.9L ang nilalagay sa innova or lesser doon?

Ibig sabihin may ibang alarm system sa G variant na supported ng immobilizer? I thought wala talaga yan feature na yan in all Innova here in the Philippines.

sir sorry mali ako yun inooffer pala nila is yun kahit nasa kanila ang susi mo.. basta nasa sayo ang remote hindi nila mapapatakbo ang auto mo, maistart man nila tatakbo then mamatay engine then totally off na ang engine at di na nila maistart..

2012 Innova G sakin. Sinubukan ko kanina ganito...Locked the car using remote key. Then used the physicaly key to manually unlock the door on the driver's side. Nag-alarm ng maingay ang car. So I guess tama yung sabi nugn isa na mag-aalarm pag sinusian. Wala pa akong binago sa settings mula ng makuha ko unit ko this week.

yah ganun na nga po, tama po yan. ganyan po talaga kung ni lock ng remote then unlock susi. considered as force entry yun ni innova kaya siya mag alarm.

what i mean po is that hindi siya mag alarm pag nilock ng susi tapos unlock susi pa din, not the remote.

Query regarding the car alarm system. The car alarm is automatically deactivated the moment the unlock button is press. I lock the car door using the key and not via lock button on the remote key and when I open it using the key (not the unlock remote button), the alarm sounded. Is this the correct setting or the way the alarm should function? since when I lock the door using the car key, the alarm is not activated in the first place and I was surprised that the alarm sounded the moment I opened the door.

baka nman napindot mo ng di mo alam yung armed/lock button ng remote mo...kai kung susi ang ipangla-lock mo, lam ko kahit di G yung unit ko, ndi nya ma-aactivate yung alarm...mag-lock lang sya if sa remote mo nilock...and once inopen mo yung doors using the keys, automatic tutunog alarm mo kasi parang forcible entry yun, meaning, nabuksan ang pinto na ndi naka-off ang alarm...ganyan alarm ko e...malamang napindot mo yan pre....o kaya,attend ka EB tapos sampolan mo kami at ng mapag-usapan ng grupo ano posibleng problema nyang alarm mo...

Gusto magpalit ng HU, upgrade door speakers and install a headrest monitors and subwoofer for personal entertainment. Kaso, my ride is just 4 mos. old. Will it really void the warranty once installed outside?

My Innova G A/T Gas is now 1 week old and I took her to subic for my break in. A couple of observations:

1) I found out that my steering wheel is misaligned. I am driving straight but the spoke of the steering rod is not horizontally levelled. It is off by about 5 to 10 degrees.

2) I feel that the engine is exerting a lot of effort just to get the car moving. When I reach 100 kph, the accelerator is already pushed about three-fourths full and I hear the engine revving hard. I don't feel this in my 1.6 Altis or my 1.5 Avanza. It seems as if the Innova is very heavy and the engine is small. Is there something wrong with my car? Or normal lang ba to? Nakikita ko naman yugn ibang Innova na inoovertakan ako at mabilis. I don't know though kung Diesel or Gas sila kasi no way of knowing yata in older Innova models. Di nakasulat kung 2.0 or 2.5. SA 2012 nakasulat na kasi.

Minsan nauuna maglabas sa Banawe ng accessories gaya ng fog lamps for the 2012 Innova... When i had my alarm installed sa Gold Cars 3 weeks ago ay inooferan na nila ako nun... But i prefer to buy it sa casa because I'm worried na baka mag moist at baka lumalabo ung after market fog lamps... Sa casa rin ako nagpa install ng fog lamps for my 2007 Innova... But as of yesterday, Saturday ay wala pa silang accessories for the 2012 Innova... Sa June pa daw darating... What was available yesterday ay ung rain gutter which i got as freebie.

yun naman ang laging sinasabi sa casa eh... I don't worry much about the electrical warranty, kasi subok ko na naman ang shop na pinupuntahan ko sa Banawe... Doon din ako nagpa install ng alarm, speakers, in car entertainment for my Revo and 07 Innova... Sabi rin sa akin ng ahente sa Tyt Makati na ok lang magpa install sa labas basta kakilala mo at subok mo na ung car accessories shop na pinupuntahan mo... Just had my 3 weeks old Innova installed with speakers, aftermarket HU just the other day.

Yes... Sub divided po ang warranty... So, electrical lang ang mavo void.

Yung mga older innovas are easy to identify. Look at the fenders and may emblems doon na D4D (Diesel) or vvti (Gas). Try to record yung speed against engine rpm then iconsult mo ang casa.

for me ganyan din napansin ko nung una pa yung innova ko, feel ko underpowered pero sige lang, maganit pa segunyal nyan or pistons kasi bago pa, antayin mo maka 10k kilometers yan ganda na ng takbo nyan, mabilis ang vvti.

tanong ko lang, after the 3yrs LTO registration from casa sa ika 4th yr paano na ang LTO registration? will i go now to the process of emission testing? pwede kaya yung registration ko sa LTO is like every 3 yrs?
