Got 5K pms yesterday.... change oil and filter lang ginawa nila..with matching car wash.. cost me 1850pesos. i switched from synthectic to mineral oil now, I noticed when i drove home with 240km.. mahina ang hatak,para di kabilisan gaya ng dati ung synthetic pa gamit ko.. dapat nag sythentic ulit ako kasi mas maganda ang performance.. any one could give there idea about this... thanks!!!

BTW, I'm driving a VVTi 2.0 M/T on Bi-Fuel (LPG and Gasoline). Mixed city and highway was 8-10 Km/li on LPG and 9-11Km/li on Gasoline.

panu mo nagawa that you are using 2 fuel lines on your Innova (BioFuel, LPG and Unleaded)?
saan ka nagpa-convert or nagpamodify nyan bro?
pwede din ba yan sa D4D engines?

its only on your mind, ihmo, it wont make a significant difference kung synth o mineral oil. its just that synth oil cleans better. check mo tire pressure, baka parang nabibigatan ka sir.

mile2 said bi-fuel. he means that it can run on gas and lpg.

LPG kits are not yet ready/compatible for diesel engines, afaik still in the process of developing for diesel engine and LpG kits to run together. Lpg is like gasoline that burns on sparks, unlike diesel. kaya medyo wait pa din. wala pa atang technology for diesel-Lpg. naghihintay din ako e

Ask ko lang po if dapat ko na ba ibenta ang innova ko for another car, cause most of the time ako lang isa nakasakay, considering na family car daw ang innova at la pa naman ako family , is it better maghanap nalang ako ng other car or stick nalang po ako sa innova which is still in good condition??

depende yan sa kagustuhan at situation mo. Are you still single & planning to have a family? Maganda talaga ang Innova for family thats why nagpalit ako from kotse to Innova. Other way around, kung may innova ka, very useful naman sya lalo na kung may lakad ang tropa lalo na kung road trip. Pero kung plan mong pumorma, mas maganda nga ang kotse.

O nga eh... had my innova for 3 years na, very practical kasi cya and useful especially kung may mga guests, eventhough my iba akong SUV, mas gusto ko parin gamitin ang innova though wala akong kotse hehe. but lately very rare lang kasi merong sumasakay na more than .di kaya awkward na kahit 1 ka lang innova parin dala mo?

tama si kurtsm - agree ako sa sinabi niya, i had a car (ford lynx) once and did some modifications to it para sa porma but when i settled down and had 2 kids, Innova was my choice - pede mo naman pormahan like bigger tires and rims, spoiler etc.

Lam ko yun feeling mo, gusto mo ng kotse pero nanghihinayang ka i let go ng innova mo. Isipin mo na lang kung ano ang mas priority mo? pero sabi mo nga may SUV ka na, edi mag kotse ka na... hehehe... kaka miss yun bilis ng kotse!!! Kung kotse... mag Honda ka! sarap ng ride! parang rexona (it wont let you down). Good luck..!

Previously had this problem but was resolve.

Problem was from front shutter vent being clogged with debris (dried leaves and twigs). What I did was run the car on highway with open shutter for a few kilometers and way back home I checked the cabin filter and it did catches all the debris. From thereon no more outside fumes.

I agree with you Mr. Mile. In my 3-month old Innova ganyan din napansin ko. Ung amoy ng tambutso ng sasakyan sa unahan ko, pumapasok at naaamoy ko. The next day bago ako umalis ng bahay, nagtry akong i-open ko ung air vent, the problem is nakalimutan kong i-off hanggang malayo na natakbo ko. Nung napansin ko un, close ko agad ung air vent. Presto, ngaun wala na ung dati kong naamoy na mga fumes galing labas.

Un pala ang dahilan, nasolve ng di ko nalalaman kung di mo lang nabanggit mo dito sa forum. TY

Guys I need some help, I'm sure that most of my questions have probably been answered in the past already but I have done some reading but havn't read any yet, so please bare with me.

Married with 2 kids here and I have a nice dilemna of choosing which ride to buy, choices as of now are Honda Civic, Hyundai Tucson and Toyota Innova.

1. What would be the advantages and disadvantages of an Innova compared to the other 2?

2. Fuel consumption?

3. I have heard that an Innova has a good ride and could be lined with some luxury vehicles when it comes to that, is it true?

4. If I do get an Innova would it be a better choice to get a diesel engine than gas considering fuel prices?

5. Hows the sound of a diesel engine of an innova? Smoke?

6. Suggestions which model (innova) to buy on a 1M budget via bank financing?

7. Availability of units?

The best ang Engine at handling ng tucson ix. Pulls and hadles like a car. Pero sa suspension and size, i would prefer the innova, parang mejo matagtag ang IX.

almost just the same. my innova's running 9-10 km/L (city/hi way). 10-12 km/L (hi-way). civic will do the same. sabi nga ng honda power of 2.0 but efficiency of a 1.6. hehe!

based on my experience, comparing the ride with altera/expedition/fortuner (nasakyan ko but haven't handled any) malayo difference. talagang far more comfortable parin mga luxury SUVs. but comparing it with advie/fusion/revo mas ok. handling is better than any 2000 below models na sedan. hehe!

4. If I do get an Innova would it be a better choice to get a diesel engine than gas considering fuel prices?

that was also one of my considerations before. my deciding factor was the carbon emission.. hehe! mas environment-friendly pa rin gas and it consumes unleaded.

no idea bout the smoke but last thing i heard crosswind's noisier than innova.

bro baka manghinayang ka kung ibenta Innova mo, the Innova is cool kahgit ikaw lang ang nagdrive; and mas marami ka ma-load not only passengers but there are some time na magkaroon ka ng maraming dala, kaya yan ng Innova mo....
ayuz din pormahan ang Innova; kapag pinormahan mo pa, baka humanga pa tropa mo sa setup mo.... if you want try to have a concept. Be one of a kind, wag kang gumaya sa ibang Innova na setup, gumawa ka ng sarili mong setup na para ikaw lang bukod tangi na may ganyan na setup na Innova
this is what im currently doin in my Innova; setting it up to be different amongst others; simple setup lang as much as Possible. create an INNOVAtion within you....

If it reaches 10 then thats within my preferred range. I want to go gas but is just considering the additional savings and kilometers that a diesel might give me. This is a very helpful information.

I have driven a fortuner but not an Innova, I have riden an innova though but I was at the back so it's kinda hard to compare. Any other feedbacks regarding this fellow tsikoteers?
