guys help, advisable pa ba ang 4 people sa middle row seat? at 3 sa 3rd row, ako then 1 front passenger. ung 4 sa middle ay women, isa mejo chubby. 4-5 times po ito a week for 70km travel. slex- c5 lang po.
di ba makasama sa innova ko?
Meron sir.
HTH.
bossing baka may service manual po kayo ng innova e kahit anong gawin ko po hindi ko mapastart eh walang diesel umaakyat sa nozzle tnx po
i followed the manual's instructions on how to drain the fuel filter housing, of water. it didn't work. yes, we all end up replacing not only the fuel filter, but also the ENTIRE fuel filter housing assembly. it'd have been cheaper and easier to just replace the entire fuel filter assembly. 2.2 K, if i recall.
i don't recall what my manual says on time intervals between filter change, and tinatamad na akong bumaba sa garahe...
hey, be ready for the dreaded fan belt-alternator-compressor bearing failure. the innova is the only vehicle i know of, where you have to replace the entire alternator when its bearings wear out! (or so, what the casa mechanic told me.)
tnx for your reply
this seemed to be an ongoing problem of Toyota, and they should be notified in order to rectify this issue.
I think that's what going to happen to me coz i am juz waiting for the part, so called, fuel filter centimeter system and it cost now around P2,750.00
I am just not definitely sure, but would like to do this as to practice to prolong the life of my Innova's engine... I think what I have to do is every time I change the oil and filter of my car, id be doing the same thing with my fuel filter system
geez, that sounds so scary regarding replacing the alternator, whew that is a whooping big bucks that you have to shoulder, you'd be glad if insurance covers for this...
what are the signs of fan belt-alternator-compressor bearing failure? any alarming sound on the engine or warning light that will Lit on the dashboard?
tnx...
At last, the login problem has been solved.
For Toyota to replace the whole filter assembly only means that the float type switch (that detects water accumulation) is damaged and this should not happen regularly.
It is actually a very good thing to replace the fuel filter element (ONLY!) when the engine goes for an oil change. The price of the element is about 400 pesos and this should be manageable.
same here with the Login... too sad i cant use my other username since I preferred that... dunno what happen...
oh yeah id wish that this wont happen regularly regarding on my fuel filter system of my Innova; id rather put into practice as what ive mentioned regarding changing my fuel filter element everytime I change my engine oil and oil filter...
tnx for the reply...
i got my new innova j 2110 for three weeks and im satisfied with its pulling power....but my concern is coz its only a J model and this model doesnt have a door open warning, i went to toyota cabanatuan to find out coz my 1987 boxtype have it...so i asked them to put a warning light and im willing to pay them but even the people there dont know if there is available socket for connection...so they have to open the dashboard and they found out that there is no other way but to replace the panel board and it will cost me about 18t...and i said no! so i went home sad coz they asked me to pay 160plus for the check up grrrr! imagine my 1987 old model boxtype have it.... and another incident had just happened, i reached 1000k and need change oil...so i went there and they changed the oil and paid them...but the next day i found out that oil level is more than the "full" level...and i found something powdery at the bottom of the pipe near the catalytic converter...so i went back there...Hay naku poor TUKELLE! they said that s its normal to have a powder coz its new and they drained oil for about half a liter.......and here is the sad news they charged me again for their failure to put the oil to normal level...i said what you were the one that changed and drained oil and now you are charging me 168pesos for your failure?!!!! what a sad experienced!!! so at the end i paid it!!! hehehe!and lessons learned!! Is this what you call after sales service?
