Pinatingin ko sa trusted mechanic. Ok pa yung fan belt, nilagyan lang ng wd40. Tignan ko bukas kung ganun pa rin, post ko dito. Yung fan belt pala natin self-adjusting so di na i-aadjust.

Meron pa palang isa, nung friday bumaha dito sa shaw blvd., inabot ng baha si innova halos hanggang pinto, pero di naman pinasok. Sabi kasi nung officemate ko pa grasahan ko daw mga ball joints, kailangan pa ba yun?

Puro sealed type yata ang ball joints ng Innova, walang greasing inlet.

Kaya ako di ko pinapadaan sa baha kahit anong dala kong sasakyan ngayon, dati kasi mas matataas pa sa Innova ang inaararo ko sa baha na mga sasakyan either right after makakaproblema ako sa under chassis parts or later after few months. Most prone sa baha ay yung rear deferential gear box at axle bearings and then second is transmission gear box.

On the WD-40, its not to advisable to use that on the rubber parts like belts as it is a petroleum-based lubricant; it will make your belt wear out faster when exposed to heat and will attract dust as well (which can seep and clog onto the bearings in the long run).

On the the car being submerged in flood, better to get an under wash job and flush your brake fluid.

price for the seat cover was 8.5k they gave it to me for 7.5k, syn leather sir.
yung center console they reupholstered it walang garter yun. very tight fit ang seat cover parang gloves the seat cover is very fit di sya gumagalaw.

yan ang kagandahan ng mga customized seat covers... exact fit talaga sya... di kumukulubot... di kagaya ng nabibili sa mga Ace Hardware.

same here! iwas na iwas din ako sa baha... di bale nang malayo alternate route ko... basta huwag lang may baha.

Ganda Sir! I've been planning to buy leather seats pero mahal sa casa. I'll definitely visit Lederland as I go to west avenue every now and then for the past few weeks.

Price is okay mahigit sa P1M ang price ng bago.

Check mo na lang PMS record and general condition of the engine.

hehe, unang una, para makatipid,

pangalawa, kung sino sino lang naman umuupo sa 2nd row seats, di ko ma control ang mga nangyayari dun, kung ipa leather ko at baka matas tasan, ma hiwa, mamanchahan, etc.

sa 3rd row seats.. most of the time naka taas lang siya, for more basura space.. hehe

sa hiway nakaka 10k/l ako roughly, most of the time no traffic, 500++km ODO pa lang yan. sana gumanda naman pag dating ng 2K++

hirap din kasi umeksakto ng calculation sa J model, hehe, saka na siguro pag nag pa full tank ako, mas accurate

Chill dude! I've been getting 8-9km/L on mixed driving. But I normally drive faster than 120km/h on highways!

EDIT:

Odometer reading is about 22,000km. I fill it up with Shell or Petron unleaded (93 RON) gas. I don't have a regular shifting habit. Sometimes I shift at 2000RPM, sometimes at 5,500RPM.

Hi innova peeps...

Its been a while since I logged in here, as for my ride, I have 225/55/R17s, Grip, Handling and braking is quite satisfactory for me, since 55 tires are not really thin, it is quite comfortable... although I"feel" that it takes more time to accelerate from standstill... assuming you step on the gas pedal lightly... I feel fuel consumption will be higher compared to stock rims & tire... and since its around 4% difference from tire calculator, speedometer & odometer might not be accurate

waaa... badtrip ang toyota balintawak north... nagpagawa ako ng front bumper dahil malaki na clearance, una sabi nila covered warranty tapos iniwan ko yung innova, after tinawagan ako.. di na daw covered warranty at magbayad daw me 500 pesos for repair ng bumper kasi may bangga daw kahit wala. sabi ok lang kahit magbayad ako para maayos lang.. tapos nung kinuha ko na ganun pa rin clearance!!.. asked ko service advisor nila sabi may sinusonod daw guidelines mga nagrepair kung gano kalaki ang clearance ng bumper.. kaya ayun parang hindi ginawa malaki pa rin clearance.. nagbayad lang ako ng 620 pesos plus tax pa. as in parang walang ginawa. san kaya maganda magparepair bumper?

Hello po sa lahat ng ka-innova jan. I just got my Innova J vvti today, the first car i ever bought. So far im liking it a lot! It's a huge upgrade from a Sentra. Much more space and power. Looking forward to getting some help from the friendly peeps here about installing power windows and locks, etc and getting some tips on taking good care of my Innova.
