NEED YOU COMMENT PLEASE:

If I'm not mistaken "RANGE" in the multi information display indicates the remaining kilometer before the fuel gets empty. I tried not to refil my gasoline even if the "RANGE" is 0 and my innova still runs for 5 km then I decided to fill up my gas for 2,000 or 49.85 liters. It means that with the tank capacity of 55 liters I still have 5.15 liters of gas remaining in the gas tank. My fuel consumption based in the multi information display is 7.8 km/li.

Questions:
1. The "RANGE" in the multi information display is not accurate could it be possible that the odometer and FC reading is not accurate?
2. My FC in the multi information display is 7.8 km/li and based on my manual computation:
Kilometer run = 390 km
Gas ======== 49.85 li or 2,000.00
390 km / 49.85 li = 7.82 km/li (is my computation correct?) If it's correct FC reading in the multi information display is accurate but how come the "RANGE" is not accurate? Estimate lang ba ang "RANGE"?
3. Do you have the same case that your "RANGE" display is not accurate? Anybody tried this in your ride?

Purely city drive lang ako. Route is Sauyo - Mindanao - Congressional - Edsa - Caloocan 11th Ave. back and forth. My odometer reading is 1,340 km. Innova G vvti A/T ang ride ko.

Try mong tawagan sa Toyota dealer office nila. Kung under financing yung unit mo at sa bank nakapasok, baka puwede mong pa-follow-up dun sa kausap mo sa bank. Kasi they will keep the original or/cr while the unit is mortagaged. Pero kung sa Toyota Financing, you should be able to follow-up it din sa kanila or sa LTO department ng dealer.

The dirving RANGE info as stated in the manual is "the approximate distance that you can drive until the fuel gauge reaches 'E'" "It is different from the actual distance traveled"

It is base on your remaining fuel and past fuel consumption, and also varies with your driving habits and road conditions.

In my case I don't bothered much about driving RANGE meter, if I see my fuel tank reaches below the half tank indicator then I refill again

Ego, I agree with Mile2. It's giving the driver an estimate on how long you can still travel with the current fuel load.

hello all innova owners. been a long time since i visited this site. may mga tanong lang ako sa mga owners with more than 40t na ang tinakbo.

1. how do i know if my axle shaft needs to be replaced? do i call them?
2. does anyone experience some sort of performance deterioration after mga 35t? sa akin kasi may konting delay na ang response compared sa nung bago pa. what should i do?
3. tumaas ba ang fuel consumption niyo? i used to do 9.3 on city, now down to 7.3 na lang.

innova boy- you have K&N filter (E2296) installed. how is the performance and where can i get one?

i'm an INNOVA user since september,2005. mine is G Type / MT / Gasoline.
comment ko lang sa innova is yung 3rd row seat, masyadong maliit yung legroom. Fuel consumption is 8.5KM/L.

pero okay siya especially sa baguio kennon road, the only vehicle overtaked me is a fortuner pero yung iba ay gapang na... : )

tanong lang po... okay lang bang lagyan ng "KHAOS" ang innova?

Glad to hear from you again. In my experienced, my casa didn't bothered to inform me about axle replacement issue. I went to them directly and scheduled for replacement after confirmation.
So far wala naman akong napansing kakaiba sa performance and fuel consumption, though pinapalitan ko ang lahat ng shock absorbers (4 pcs) even no signs of leakage observed.

Owned an Innova since January 2006. I don't have multi function in my D4D J so I compute my kpl manually. I have consistently gotten more than 11 kpl from my Innova in city driving with aircon always on. However, I do have a light foot. I still get 11 kpl in my 1997 Toyota Hilux which has almost 250,000 km on the clock.

BTW, OT, I do all the regular maintenance in the Hilux. I've replaced v-belts, timing belts, brake pads, repacked front bearings, etc. No major repairs up to now. The Hilux passes its emission tests with flying colors.

I'd like to know more about the axle replacement issue. What is it and if ever my axle needs to be replaced, how to go about it.

As i mentioned earlier, mas malakas ang acceleration ko ngayun, same with FC, a little better.. You can get one in Banawe, forgot the name of store..

bout the GPS, am just using the HP ipaq handheld, but the map i have is for metro manila only, Nothing for Luzon or mindanao for that matter....

Maganda ang service nila, sa otis ko nakuha ang sa akin pero dun ako sa batangas ng pa pms ng 10k and 20, ung 15 k ko kasi sa manila ako inabot so na compare ko ang service nila. Mas ok sa Batangas, hanapin mo si Ruel Arguelles 043 723 8030.

Sir mas maganda kung mag pa appointment ka para di ka nag aantay ng matagal, dami rin kasi ng papa service. Last time nasira yung HU ko, na pull out ung unit, balikan ko daw after one week, 5 days pa lang tumawag na siya , ok na raw. So pumunta ako, eh umulan a day before, pumunta ako dun na di ko nalinis ung innova ko, so ang dumi. Nung release ung unit bago pang carwash, ang kintab free of charge pa, wala akong binayaran .Also, pag nagpa pms ka, kasama na ung engine wash and body wash.

Agree ako with Innova Dean.Look for Ruel Arguelles ok na SA sya.Had a bad experience with them with a certain Marto and if not for the good recovery made by them by assigning Ruel to me,baka di pa nila ako na recover.

Service is good but really exceptional if Ruel is the SA in charge.

Mga Sir, opinion lang po, I am planning to order E variant Diesel M/T, if I decide later to install the features in G variant is it possible & wise decission considering their cost difference is 92T? Un bang fuel injection pump ng Diesel engine ng Innova is disposable? Thanks!

1. Trip computers are rarely accurate. They usually give ballpark figures. Odometers are somewhat more accurate than the computed figures of the trip meter. If you want to be accurate, use a GPS based device to measure speed and distance.
