Natatawa kasi ako minsan sa casa. May nakalagay sa receipt for brake cleaning but I’m not sure if they even did anything.

so i bring it pronto to banawe, where they brought the disk rotor down and re-faced it in the machine shop...
sigh.

alam ko spray lang konti ng brake cleaner gawa nila, tipong tinipid pa

IMO every few years or 40k km palitan din yun brake caliper pin sleeve
yun 60k km nun binaklas ko, ang layo na ng quality vs new
maluwag na sya

i haven't heard of rack and pinion issues in the altis. are you sure, it's the rack and pinion? not the CV joint? the other wear-and-tear suspension parts?

My Altis rack and pinion needs replacement. After 170K kms, sulit na ba?

it would be nice if it reached 250K km, instead of that paltry 170K km...

IMO sulit na yan, sakin * 60k km meron na
yung iba much much earlier, like less 40k km
pero feeling ko dahil mahilig mag offroad yun previous owner LOL

steering became very light, may play, may tok sound when you turn left-right at stop, langitngit all over, tunog lumang taxi na sa lubak. Nagpalit na ko shocks last year. pinacheck ko na tierod and rack end. Yun na daw talaga, sakit ng Altis!
