I agree. If I know that my car is "alaga", I will never sell below the average price. In fact I will sell a little higher.

OLX price is bloated, but a 2011 Altis G, assuming that's the facelifted dual VVTi version, would still sell for around 400k.

At 350k, baka nagmamadali sa pera. I would just have it throughly checked before buying it to be sure. You can even make a quick buck out of it and sell it for 390k.

Personally I don't wanna wait several months to sell my car, so even if it's in good condition, I price it competitively.

it's cheaper by about 100K, compared to olx. questions i would like to know the answers to:
1. what's wrong with it, car-wise? will it drive me to the poorhouse, if i were to have it fixed? also, company car? what's the odometer reading? who maintained it, and how faithful?
2. is the ownership legit? not stolen? not mortgated? not company car whose sale has not yet been approved by the company? without that approval, you will never get that car under your name.
3. not grey market, i.e., subic or port irene?
4. did the car go swimming, or get into a chassis-bending smash-up?
5. why is he selling it?

1. Hindi ko pa po natetest drive eh.pero tingnan ko nlng dn mabuti.sa casa daw ginagawa maintenance.hindi ko pa din sure yng odometer reading. Sa december pa kasi mabebenta, dahil dun palang ata mattransfer sa pangalan niya.

Baka nagmamadali nga lang din,tsaka alam ko based sa mga naging sasakyan nila,mababa talaga sila magbenta,para siguro mabilisan na din.last time,civic fd nila binenta din na mababa eh,wala lang din kasi ako budget nun.hehe.

Was just combing through my pics and saw the pic i posted when i was selling my 2012 Gen 10.5 Altis E m/t last year. I advertised it at 450K and let go of it at 395K. Mileage that time was 55K kms.

Guys question lang. nung dumaan kasi ako sa startoll going to batangas city along lipa na ata yun, may guhit guhit yung road na asphalt every 1 meter or so. eh naka 100 kph ako ng takbo minsan 120 pa pag may overtake, then nun nadaanan ko yung guhit guhit na yun, parang naririnig ko sa ilalim parang may matatangal na something sounds (akala ko normal lang yun eh kaya dirediretso lang ako sa 100kph). eh nwala din nung patag na yung road so hindi ko nalang pinansin. now lately parang mas maalog ung car. 3 months ko palang pla nagagamit

normal ba yun or do i need to bring it to a mechanic na.

imho. baka guni guni mo lang yun since di maganda naging experience mo sa star tollway. masama naman talaga kalsada dyan eh.
obserbahan mo muna for unusual sounds, kabig pag flat roads, etc.

Try to check your rack and pinion among others. Sometimes it needs re-torquing (the mounting bolts).

that sticker window is strictly ministerial. bring the original OR and its duplicate copy only. no need for the rest. can't you tell them, "it's in your office already. i wouldn't have this OR if your office didn't have it." ?
when i claimed mine (non-makati branch), yung OR and its duplicate lang ang hiningi, with the requisite name and address & cedula number written at the back.

My practice is to change every 40,000kms, using Toyota ATF. Sometimes they say "lifetime"na yung ATF but i rather replace.
