I can just tell speedyfix to do a 40k PMS on my car? I don't know what needs to be done on the 40k PMS kasi.

Hi everyone! Relatively new owner of a second hand Corolla 10th gen here (1.6G M/T '09). I got the car last September 2014 so the car has been with me for more than a year already.

So far so good. Parts are very easy to find compared to my '09 APV. They are also cheaper.

So far, I've done the following to the car since I got it:

1. Replaced fan on Dec 2014 (Denso, PHP 4,700 with labor)
2. Replaced oil filter on Dec 2014 (Parts Mart, PHP 450)
3. Replaced clutch and pressure plate on May 2015 (Aisin, PHP 7,000 with labor)
4. Changed oil and oil filter at 60,000 km
5. Changed tires last week (Yokohama A-Spec OEM)

Light clutch. Smooth shifts. Good on gas. Engine slightly underpowered at the highway (especially when you go >100 km/h) but perfect for city driving. I feel that this thing is a mini Camry.

Try cleaning your MAF sensor too (using electric contact cleaner).

I'll call a non-casa shop and ask for an estimate since I already bought oil and filter and I would really like to use it.

Estimates are blocked on my CPU for some reason. But for the fluids, you can get at the Toyota CASA together with the air and cabin filters if Banawe is too far (i usually buy at Toyorama). It's really more of the gear oil. Brake fluid you can get Bendix or Prestone from ACE or True Value.

Masmura ang 40k PMS cost kumpara kay Speedyfix. 11.3k singil sa akin dun. Pero ang bilis nila at pwede ka observe habang ginagawa nila.

Akala ko ba up to 100k kms ang itatagal ng spark plugs ng Altis?

Anong mas mura? 11.3k kay speedy fix kasama lahat ng parts or labor lang? Sakin kasi estimate sakin ng speedyfix 4.5k labor lang.

Parts and labor na. Parang mas complete pa nga sa casa. Kasi may nakalista sa quotation sa iyo na hindi ko maalala na ginawa sa speedyfix.

madaming difference in terms of body, but features wise, its the same.
salient difference between the G-10 and the G-10.5 is yung reflector sa rear bumper. the G-10 has round reflectors, the G-10.5 has rectangular reflectors.
may difference din sa trunk garnishing and slight difference sa front bumper.

Thanks sir. While scouting for a unit * olx, I've also noticed the 10th Gen use yellow for rear signal/hazard while the 10.5 Gen is already transparent.

Mechanically, the most notable difference is the Gen 10.5 has a new engine (1ZR engine). This is a much better power plant in terms of smoothness and power delivery.

The Gen 10.5 has round LED brake lamps.

Good day mga sirs newbie lang po! Need ko po help mga masters , i'm owning a 2009 Altis mga sirs & lately nakakarinig ako ng grinding sound when turning my wheel to left & right (take note mga sirs hindi pa ako on-moving mode) but when I started moving for a couple of minutes nawawala din yung grinding sound. Napansin ko lang din na nangyayari lang yung grinding sound from a cold start. Ano kaya problem doon mga sirs? Sana you can help me. Thanks and more power!

i wish they would say the year model, rather than gen 8, gen 9, gen 10, gen 10.5, etc..
year models are rather easy to determine.. it's usually what's on the CR. but only car aficionadoes know what gen x means..
