[SIZE=3]update on my FC when i went to san juan,batangas the other week after having my plate after 17days of waiting.... 11.4 km/lt but it wasnt that accurate coz on my way back natraffic ako ng todo sa lipa, twas the time when ate vi announced her candidacy and i had 30pcs of paso at the back so, the speed was in control baka dumami yong paso.hehehe![/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]today, on my way back from sucat dami ko din nakita avanza, even * mamplasan exit blue w/o plate pa. by the way, it was my first time to exit at sucat toll gate, which i never attempted to experience in our old car baka po umatras ako. hehehe! that's the biggest advantage of driving a matic pala. that's all... haba ano po dami kasi activities to attend to so, hinabaan ko na coz i dont know when will i have free time again... bye!!!!!! [SIZE=3]pahabol... my cowl wasn't fixed also at tyt bcutan when i let someone picked up my plate. pinakita pa daw ibang tyt cars having the same problems as avanza. pero lapit na 1k chk up ko i'l insist to do something about it. worry ko baka accidentally mahila mabali pa. well, sorry lalo humaba.hehehe! sir ownertype thanks for the reply.... kc nag wax ako minsan yung ginamit ko carnauba gold, cguro di ko masyado napakintab ng magaling kc medyo madilim na nang natpos ako... hayun parang may mga bahid pa ng puti sa gilid at sa may bubong.... pangit tuloy maalis ko pa kaya yun???? Pinupunasan ko parang mahirap na tanggalin eh.

wash it off dude, mahirap pag natuyo yan ng ganyan. Pero matatanggal yan. You can strip if off with water and car shampoo. Dapat pagka wax buff mo kagad. Exercise din yan.

Sa akin pag ginabi ako sa pagwawax pagkagising ko na ang buffing. Ok naman at pansin ko mas nagtatagal ang kintab. Pero pag yung liquid magsisisi ka talaga pag hindi mo i-buff agad.

medyo mahirap lang tanggalin kasi tumigas na yun especially kung medyo makapal nalagay mo... still matatanggal pa din, medyo buff mo harder or buff mo with wet cloth para medyo lumabot yung natuyong wax.

Dito din sa aming probinsya (down south po ako, sa Panay island kasi) lima na kaming naka-Avanza. Apat silang silver at ako, na pinaka-unang nakakuha ng unit, lang ang naka Red. Unique pa din yung akin hehehe.

At sa wakas! After 3 mos and 2 1/2 weeks nagkaroon na din n plates ang ride ko!!! Nagkaproblema daw sa papeles dun sa Toyota Financing Services na kinunan ko ng unit. Nakakakinis nga e. Kung alam ko lang na mas malabo pala sa kanila sana sa mga Banks na lang ako lumapit. Me dalawang bank approvals pa naman ako na tinurn-down. Tsk tsk!

Latest FC ko is still a measly 7.2km/Li. Avanza J po ang akin, with very slow driving condition (maliit kasi kalsada at puro tricycle ang kasabay kaya ang bagal ng takbo, grrr!) Ave driving speed namin 20-40 lang! With max speed of 60-70 lasting for 6-12 seconds (exacto po yan! kasi araw-araw kong binibilang yang stretch na yan pang release ng pent up tension! Laging bitin kasi sa arangkada! hehehe). How I long for the wide open hiways of the big cities!!! Haaaaaysssss.....

halos araw-araw na ata ako me nakakasabay na avanza sa daan ah. last friday around 3pm red avanza (1.5) from edsa going to rockwell.kanina naman around 230pm from shaw blvds. a silver (1.3J) coming from pineda, then sa boni around 530pm a white avanza with chrome door handle and a black mag wheels........baka isa na kayo dito sa nakikita ko at nakakasalubong......can we have a signal if one of us eh me makasalubong sa daan like a three (3) times short horn if he the other avanza responded....tsikoteer yun...oh di ba..pwede kaya yun.

Maganda yan na meron tayong signal pag may nakasulubong na Tsikoteer Avanza owner.

Hi everyone!

I went to toyota Makati last saturday, pinagawa ko ung 3rd row na ayaw mag lock. May inilagay daw silang washer at naayos na rin. They also checked the door sensors and fixed the problem on the dome lights that activate on bumpy roads and humps. But they refused to adjust the clutch on my request due to difficulty shifting to reverse gear. Diinan na lang daw talaga pag kailangan nagreverse. So far wala naman problema ang avanza ko.
Mga 12.21 ang fc ko from southwoods to makati with 7 passengers.

Sa mga taga Laguna avanza j owners: kid audio binan -1300 lang daw ang door visors (4), 4500 ang power windows(2), silver roof rail 2200.

regarding roof rail, a friend of mine discouraged me to have those universal roof rail installed in my avanza. He told me na di basta puwede i bolt yung rails kasi pa curve yung roof ng sasakyan. Kailangan pa i modify yung rail para lumapat ng maayos. Pag di maayos yung mod ang tendency daw pa daw pumasok yung tubig dun sa holes at tumulo sa loob dahil hindi maganda yung lapat. May point siya.

Question: meron na ba naka roof rail sa mga avanza owners here? Pano kinabit yung inyo?

mommy jem, mine dadalhin ko ulit sa saturday... papawarranty nalang daw yung cowl, papacheck ko din yung door sensor kapag nalulubak. sabi ko kasi nakakita na ako ng avanza sa parking sa mall na maayos pagkakalapat ng cowl. Simula nagreklamo kami, everytime nagtxt ako sumasagot agad... pati yung plate i-deliver sa office today hehehehe.

plate garnish- 1350
window visor- 1300
gas cover- 500
3Mtintmgc full-1400 (w/ visor)
total =4550 actual payment given P4400 ( just make kulit )
look for toto sya nagassist sa kin.
natakot lang me decide sa roof rail kasi nkascrew have to ask my husband's consent first. naaawa din ako kay baby baka masaktan.hehehe!

That's why i dont have the courage to have it install baka nga me disadvantage mas ok sana porma kasi it would look a lil bit taller kaya lang..... i'l wait for others to have it first na lang.

Ok just had my 5k checkup. As i said in my previous post during my 1k checkup, I insisted that the Avanza only needed 3L of oil as is stated in the manual. At the time, toyota charged me 4L so I insisted that they give me the unused 1L of oil. They gave it to me naman.

For my 5k checkup, this time I told my service advisor to put in exactly 3L and I'll see for myself the oil level sa dipstick. Kung kulang nga eh di ako na lang magdadagdag with my remaining 1 liter. So I got charged only 3L this time and dun sa dipstick nasa full level na siya. So unless may dinagdag pa sila--which I doubt--then the Avanza 1.5G needs only 3L of oil and not 4. Try and see for yourself if 3L is enough so you can verify firsthand but this is my experience.

can't believe it. ang dami na tao dito sa forum. when we started kaunti lang. im very happy kasi pag marami may avanza maganda resale value pag dating ng mga 3 years. btw, the oil for 1.5G is really 3 liters only. im 8000 km already and going on my 3rd change oil na. just 3 liters sobra na yun. kasi the upper marker in the dipstick means full already and what is recommended in the manual is hanggang mga 3/4 lang ng dipstick.

i've been doing self detailing all my life. btw, 32 years old lang pala ako. hehehe. try mu soft99. its japanese made first imported to our country by a japanese businessman who owns vivid detailing here in pantranco delta q.c. eto kalaban ng big bert. big bert started here in arlington araneta ave. for those who goes to big bert ortigas. kaya lang maliit at mahina sila dito kaya they made a branch in ortigas. andito pa rin ang big bert katabi ng arlington. the problem with big bert kahit anung gawin nila merun pa rin whitish at hard residue after the wax they do. Merun available soft 99 ang concorde lang try nyo na lang pero pure japanese sulat kaya magtanung na lang kayo sa sales person. there is specific wax for white and black cars and different wax for light colored and heavy colored cars. soft 99 is not advised to be buffed with a machine instead hand buff lang. so nice and easy to use and does not creep to edges of your car. hope i was able to help.
