to avanza owners.... bad experience in TYT Manila bay ... nagwala gf ko kanina kahit the same ng may-ari ng company nya and yung sa TYT manila bay.

i have my 1K check earlier... nagpa-appointment ako ng 9 ah, ang galing iwan pa din yung sasakyan natapos 3 PM. Here's the job done 1K check, full tint yung front (cost me 2300 ++ 3M brand), check yung cowl (walang nagawa), check yung door switch kasi kapag nalulubak umiilaw yung door open indicator and dome (wala din nagawa).

when i got my car around 3 PM, madumi yung windshield ko puro alikabok at tipong nabasang alikabok... eh kakapa car wash ko lang kahapon, yung ambi pur ko sinalpak ng pabaligtad so natapon yung pabango and pumasok yung pabango sa singit singit nung defogger switch, side mirror switch, ang dumi ng sidings, yung 2nd row ko ang dumi din parang may kumain ng chichirya at may wrapper pa... nakatodo yung aircon sa second row eh nde ko binubuksan yun kasi lagi dalawa lang kami ang sakay ... in other words binalahura... napamura ako kanina.. nagbayad na ako ng 6K ++ tapos ganun pa maabutan ko sa sasakyan ko... akala ko anong discount pwede ko makuha kasi nga warranty ganun din pala babayaran mo lahat, eh di dapat dito nalang sa q-ave ko pinacheck... mas malapit ako sa q ave....

mag file kami ng written complaint......

Warn them that you will even go to the media if they do not take any abrupt action. It will get their butt moving as they would not want to scare any of their potential customers watching TV.

I wonder why you have to pay "ANY" when your car is under warranty. Even these consumable parts like oil filter, engine oil that they need to replace, its still should have been free of charge.

Last week I had the shock absorber of my Ford Escape replaced due to leak and its under warranty. I just signed the acceptance sheet and drive off without paying a single cent.

Oil, oil filter, air filter, and other such items are not part of the warranty that's like asking them to cover your fuel as part of the warranty. Shock absorbers are covered if they fail within the warranty period.

The only time they could replace it for free is if they needed to drain it in order to correct/verify a problem that is being claimed for under warranty.

But in most cases, they just pour the old stuff back in after they are done.

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt that they actually did. Pero nagkaissue dati sa dealer sa area ko that they were not actually doing the work reflected on their receipts. The cars were just in the service area, ginagawa lang lounge chairs/walkmans during the mechanics' breaks.

Btw, are your consumables free for a certain duration or just for the first one? Zuk and GM used to offer 2 year service packages (all in).

That's a no nooo. If they pour the old oil back especially at 1km check-up they would not have removed new engine residues.

Clarify lang po. I did not mean at the 1,000km check up. I meant for the duration of the warranty period. There are some claims like leaking oil pan gaskets, etc. which would require drainage of the oil for the service to be done. After the service is done, they just pour the old oil back in.

what i paid for is the consummables, its not part of the warranty. Included in the warranty are parts.

Can't wait to have my cowl problem fixed.
Tuwing Sunday kasi paligo ng ride namin (9am-11:30 washing and interior detailing, then lunch break at CSI marathon 12-3pm adik e hehe , 3pm-4pm final detailing) at nakaka-asiwa talaga tuwing dun banda sa windshield ako naglilinis, nakikita ko na nakaangat yung mga dulo ng cowl (yun pala tawag dun mga peeps, hehe).

i just bent the flap with the hook-like thingy na pang-lock upwards. then swak na siya at di na natatanggal. konting ingat lang baka maputol po yung flap. kung unsure po kayo, better have the toyota people fix it.

I did not pay any during my 1k check-up but they tore a page on my warranty booklet that looks like a free ticket. However I did already pay around P2,500.00 during 5k check-up.

might be part of the package of 1K are the consumables, for sure ordinary oil ang nilagay.

kaya lumaki sa akin ng ganun kasi synthetic yung pinalagay ko... pansin naman yung difference sa takbo.

Fellows may tanong ako, may relationship ba talaga sa FC kung mapansin mo na pag start mo ng engine ang rpm mo ay more than 1K agad o yung tintawag dito sa amin na mataas ang menor. KC dun sa luma ko na corolla 94 maintained ng mekaniko sa less or about 1K rpm. Di ko naman natanong relationship. Bigyan nyo naman ako ng kalinawan sa bagay na ito..
Yun nga pala sa akin napalo ng > 1.5K rpm.

Sa last thread ko nagtanong ako kung may nanalo sa promo ng toyota. Ang hindi ko alam pag bukas ko ng toyota website after I visited our thread eh isa pala ako sa winners... Hoooo! yahooooo!!!! Imagine I got my Avanza on the last day of promo, Feb 28, tapos isa ako sa winner.... ha ha ha... gusto ko lang share sa inyo...

Hindi ba sa simula medyo mataas talaga ang menor? Kapag medyo uminit na, mag-normalize na. Typically ~800 iyan AFAIK. Hindi naman ito katagalan, kaya hindi siguro gaanong issue sa FC. Ang problema kapag "normal" na menor yung ~1,500, pwera nalang kung ganyan talaga.
