I guess mahina yung pandikit na nasa gitna ng hood guard and I think di dapat double adhesive yung nasa gitna. Dalawa lang kasi yung clamp nya and nasa dulo pa sila.

sorry to hear about your hoodguard. di ba sufficient yung 2 screw clamp sa both ends of the hood guard to secure it from flying at high speed? narecover mo ba ulit or nabasag na? Shet around P2k din yan di ba.

Almost any aftermarket 'borloloy' is usually not up to the same standards that OEM automotive parts. Remember that OEM automotive parts go through extensive testing and evaluation before being put to market.

Ang problema dito sa atin, some dealers are selling non-manufacturer approved accessories para kumita sila. Kaya akala ng buyer, approved for use talaga ng Toyota Motors yung part.

Flying hood guards are one thing. There's also fading and cracking stepboards and roofracks (from that very famous company). And those plastic chrome trim that fade/peel/crack/yellow in no time at all.

At least OEM grade plastic chrome kaya ok pa din up to now.

-> no idea, really. i thought na hindi pwede i-warm up yung engine for more than 20 mins. (WTF am i thinking?)
definition in the dictionary: (of a machine, engine, or mechanism) to operate at a low speed, disengaged from the load.

    2. do not push-start or pull-start your vehicle.

    cheers!

thanks! at least i hv an idea now....

    Guyz,

I'm new here, first time to post here, the first time i heard about the Avanza was last November, and been a follower ever since...

Hoping to own one soon as soon as magkaroon ako ng promotion within the year..

ask ko lang sa inyo, at what RPM does the VVTi shifts-in? sa Avanza 1.3? 1.5? abrupt ba? may noise ba na magiindicate na naka-engage na yun VVTi?

    thanks

Sir, i found your last comment uncalled for...i posted my as you say "non-oem" chrome accessories in this forum to share w/ others who would be interested...i chose these because the oem costs 3 or 4x higher! And i cant afford a pajero, i am just a smalltown doctor...kindly respect other people's preferences even if you detest them...as i certainly respect yours...

I don't believe OTEP was replying to your post but to the post of judell74 which stated his hood guard flew of the vehicle at 80km/h. His comments about the plastic chrome was not even directed at anyone in particular.

So you mean to say yung binebenta ng toyota na Chromed Plastic Doors will NOT be "fade/peel/crack/yellow"?
