    Thanks.
Stuck it out with Caltex Gold. Pero my experience basta 95 octane whether petron or caltex ok lang. Wag lang V-Power ng shell. Ang bilis talaga maubus.

FC: 11.00 km/l this week.

Yung other car ko kasi has a brand new maintenance free Motolite battery and balak ko pagpalitin. Satisfied kasi ako sa maintenance free kasi my previous same motolite battery lasted for 4 years! Di ba sulit na sulit?
Ok lang dapat ito. The battery is recognized as a separate component and is warrantied by the battery manufacturer (not Toyota). Yung mga stock battery ng brand new units nila paiba-iba din ng brand kumporme kung sino ang supplier nila ng time na iyon.

What I have learned was to use distilled water either absolute or wilkins
Tama ito. A friend of mine thought that 'distilled water' was battery acid! Buti na lang nagtanong muna. Kaya I use the term 'distilled drinking water' nowadays.

I agree. It was a misconception before.
BTW, there will be no worry if you like to change the battery. Nothing will be void because the battery at present in our avanza has a 1 year warranty only. Why not after one year tsaka muna palitan. That's my plan too to change battery after 1 year lalo na at A/T yung Avanza ko.

I need your help with this fellow tsikoteers...

Pagpapalitin sana battery ng 2 cars namin(Avanza and Corolla), yung nasa corolla kasi is Motolite Maintenance Free. So my wife stopped him, she told the mechanic na ibalik na lang yung stock battery ng avanza. Ibinalik naman nya, BUT the problem goes there na. Nagkadikit DAW yung terminal and it sparked ng saglit. Ikinabit nya na sa tamang terminals after that. Then my wife thought it was OK naman as nothing happen naman after it. Nag-start naman, but when they reached the parking in the mall and she's to activate the security system. She found out na ayaw mag-OFF ng ilaw sa loob pag naka-"door" function. And also, ayaw mag-activate yung remote.

Tanong......Ano kaya problema nito? And may nadamage kaya sa electricals nito?

Dadalhin bukas ng wife ko sa casa. She will say that she found out that the terminal is loose so she tightened it then nagkaganun na.

Just go to the dealer and say the car is doing wierd things. Less talk, less problems.

Saka kung terminal sa terminal lang ang nagkadikit without one being connected to the battery, wala dapat mangyari. But even then, nothing serious should really happen. Ginagawa namin iyan sa mga sasakyan minsan just to check if the battery has juice in it.

Saka kapag kinakabit ang terminal sa battery, even if it is the correct terminal, talagang may spark minsan. Confirm muna what the wifey meant by 'nagdikit'.

    Thanks a lot OTEP...

My wife just send me a message about sa "nagkadikit".....

Bale lumalabas, naidikit nung mekaniko at first sa maling terminal kaya nag-spark...then he put it to the correct terminal na. Kung baga, nadikit nya sa positive yung negative at first......

All is working well naman except the remote and indoor light is always open kahit naka-lock na lahat pag nasa "Door' mode.

Wala naman ba kayang nasira dito? Naalis lang kaya nag setting ng remote?

    Thanks again.
