Got my Avanza G/MT today. Pero sabi ng SA di pa raw na RustProof kasi dami daw pila kaya schedule pa after 3 weeks. Ganun din ba sa inyo? La bang problema dun?

You need to rust proof it dude ASAP. Wala namang problema mangyayari in 3 weeks pero you can never be too careful. Congrattz! Enjoy your ride!

2. For tire pressure, what's the psi for the front and back wheels?

30 psi, i did ask yung sa mechanic nung nagpa 1K ako kasi nde ko rin maintindihan yung nakasulat, kung long driving tapos dalawa lang kayo 28 psi will do, pero kung loaded naman 30

Pleasantly surprised din ako sa performance ng engine. Bago pa kasi siguro

1.3 din yung sa akin, cruise ko ng 120KPH sa NLEX seemingly walang effort.

Ito ang first car ko na maliit ang engine/pang pamilya ang size. My other car (the real baby) is a modified Ford Lynx RS 2.0.

Pero sa performance/price ng avanza contented talaga ako so far.

share ko lang mga kapwa Avanza owners. we own a white 1.3 J variant. I took advantage of the holidays. bumyahe kami ng baguio. 3 adults and 1 kid. NLEX, can hold 100-120kph. ... Needless to say, sulit na sulit ang Avanza. Next trip will be in Bicol

yung I think pag full load ang car natin pero kung nag iisa ka lang pwede na ang 28 psi at 30 psi front and rear respectively para di ka aalog alog sa loob....

Yahooo! Tumawag yung SA ko kanina, ready for pick up na daw yung Avanza ko tomoro ... Ano pa kaya ang mahirit ko na freebies aside from the 4 items(tint,matting, rust proof at seat cover)?.. Bigyan pa kaya ako kahit nakapag reserve na ko ng 5K??. Yun nga palang sa bank(Pci) natataasan ako sa insurance nila... 18,701 w/o TPL pa yun, and the Chattel M. is 14k !! Pwede ko ba ipilit na sa iba na lang ako kukuha ng insurance as long na accredited nila?.. Sayang din yung mga discounts , pambili din yun ng mga accesories!!! .

kung hindi ka full load, matigas masyado yung 31 and 35, matagtag yung ride mo sa highway nyan , and tumataas daw yung pressure during long drive sabi nung mechanic ah... (anyone please confirm)

Yes, your tire pressure does go up when you drive the vehicle and it doesn't have to be a long drive. Heat is generated by your tires when you drive from rolling on the road and heat generated by your brakes also transfer through your rims. This heat causes the air in your tires to expand giving you a higher psi than when your tires are cold. I normally run tires at 28-29psi cold if I want to have 32psi after the vehicle has been driven.

Actually mababa yan, ang Insurance ko is 30,000(with TPL) and Chattel Mortagate ko is 21,000. La na kong magawa, isang Bank lang naman kasi ang nag-approved sa akin at ni-reject ako sa PCI kaya close ko na account ko sa PCI.

Share ko lang guys, I got my Avanza 1.5G M/T through BPI Savings Bank. Ang Chattel Mortgage ko was about ~ P10K. Sa BPI ko rin kinuha ang insurance... P16K lang comprehensive na. You may want to check it out with BPI.

totoo po yung nabanggit sa tire pressure, pag tayo ay nagd-drive the pressure increases pero at a certain limit naman yun (di ko nga lang alam kung hanggang saan), yun ay base na din siguro sa design ng goma natin kung hanggang saan sya pede mag increase ng temperature otherwise sasabog yun... as the temperature increases the presure relatively increase.

Kung mag 32psi or 35psi di naman sasabog yun ang result nga lang aalog alog.... Pero ma'am dapat iaipin din natin nanakaka sira din ng goma ang kulang sa hangin (napupudpod)... kung saan ka po komportable go go go ka dun. Kung gusto mo maalog sa lobb o parang swabe lang habang nag d-drive.

Matagal na akong nagbabasa ng mga threads dito. Last March 7 ko lang nakuha new avanza ko. Hanggang ngayon wala pa rin lisense plate. Just asking kung normal lang ba na napapasukan ng tubig ang headlights pag nagpahugas ng avanza 1.5 A/T. Pag nagpa warm-up naman ako, may tumutulo sa tambutso. Normal lang ba yun sa brand new car. Pasensya na ngayon lang ako nagka brand new car.

I got my AVANZA silver this afternoon from TAI , .. Thanks to this thread, na check ko lahay yung mga previous problems ... One week din ako naghintay....Yung chattel mortgage, depende pala yun sa downpayment and amount of loan... Pwede lang talaga humirit sa insurance. Nakulit ko kanina yung sa Pci, nabigyan pa ulit ako ng 1K discount ... isang full tank din yun ah! Okey mga ka avanza, see you on the road! !!
