hi guys wats up! i'm a newbie here, jusr registered today,,,i find this forum very helpful especially to those peaople planning to purchase a car im planning po sana to purchase a new car sana this yr,,,my options is vios ,city then lancer po sana kaso things have changed since my girlfriend is pregnant so iba na muna priority ko .. me and my girlfriend decided na AVANZA ang kkunin namin since its bigger, 7seater and also stylish din naman at madaling pormahan... im planning to order the unit sa January nex yr pa po kc mag labor ang GF sa november then DEcember na --waaaaaaaa 2 months na gastos --- AVANZA 1.5G po na blue ang balak ko,,,, nag pa quotation na ako sa toyota manila bay... ang taas ng price compared sa mga list na nabasa ko dito sa forum.
chattel=28,000
insurance=25,000 kgad
LTO=7,500 so all in all po 203,450.00 w/ the 20% already of the unit price.. even kaya naman po kasi hati kami ng GF ko kaso reading all threads here syempre nkkpang hinayang din....Im from bacoor cavite in between the toyota alabang,toyota manila bay,toyota dasma,,, saan po ba maganda kumuha?? pati mas maganda ba kung iloan sa bank kc tita ko po work sia as manager sa bpi then tito ko naman work sa insurance... optional din ba kung sa labas ako mag pa insurance....sensia dami ko tanong kc 1st time to buy a brand new car e .. Tnx.....

Avanza is a good choice specially since they will be introducing a new vios soon.

I suggest that you get quotes from different dealers and have them try to outdo each other. Bank financing is cheaper than toyota's inhouse financing. Since you have a relative who works for a bank, go with it.

Not sure if Toyota will allow you to get your own insurance but its worth a try. Get the insurance quote and tell your SA that you will use your own insurance company. At the very least, have them match or better the quote from your relative.

Read in a previous post that there will be a price increase for the Avanza.

thanks for the suggestion i really appreciate it,,, you guys are a big help when it comes to making decision bout cars i'll try to do that tatawagan ko ung mga dealer na malapit samin then ill check w/c one can offer me a better deal ...ano ba ang ideal na down payment (20%) sa avanza 1.5G po including na ung mag Ch,Lto, pati insurance??

Bro... Iisa ang may ari ny TYT Manila Bay & TYT Dasma and they don't accept BPI.
I'm from Dasma Cavite & BPI Dasma refered me to TYT Alabang when I took my Avanza.

sir licristo, kaya ga ho ng isang araw makabit lahat yan? magkalapit lang pala ho tayo, d2 ho ko sa chad at plano ko din na magpalagay ng accesories sa vanaza ko, pero wala parin ho akong palaka hanggang ngayon at mahigit na hong 1 month sana naman bago ko umuwi eh may plaka na rin. TIA.

the ideal downpayment is the one you can afford. the bigger the better para konti na lang ifi-finance. yung insurance pwede kunin sa labas. stick to banco de oro or BPI, wala nang bababa sa rates nila.

good choice on the avanza, especially there's a baby on the way. time to be practical, pormahan days are over

dumirekta ka na agad sa bank para mas maibigay sa iyo ang tamang price like, chattel, insurnace, monthly amort, kung sa ahente ka aasa malaki ang kikitain sa yo..he he he ang kunin mo na lang sa ahente kung anung mga freebies ang maibibigay nya sa iyo.

mga pare i dont really know what is Chattel mortgage and its purpose?? maraming salamat again sa mga nagbbgay ng more info sa pagkuha ko ng car... for sure Avanza na talag kukunin ko para maka pag bonding pa dito sainyo hehehehe......

all the previous advise of tsikoteers are very good info imho. again, better apply car loan sa bank than getting a finance from the car dealer. you can have your own insurance even if car loan sa bank. pag may kilala kang insurance, you get better deal from them. malaki ang commision ng mga agent sa insurance firm which make it very expensive na kumuha sa kanila. yun chattel mortagage is part of any car loan that the bank charge sa borrower like you. lahat ng car loan may chattel fee.

the larger na down payment you can afford the better. the shorter the duration of loan, the better. na sa iyo ang decision. hope this add some help sa planning mo. ask help from your relative who work with the bank. they can help you get a lower interest rate, hopefully.

To put it simply, chattel mortgage is a mortgage where the loan is guaranteed against the value of movable property. In your case, the car.

I'm an avanza new owner Blue G A/T from Shaw. Just got the unit last 19June after considering all the advices from our friends in this thread. Dito rin ako sa labas kya si Misis lang nag-asikaso ng pagbili. Muntik pang maubusan dahil puro spec-up na yata ang available. Kaya ilang beses din nagpalit ng decision from avanza to innova J and then finally back to avanza, originally it was my first choice talaga, dahil limited din lang ang budget. So far Oks naman ang experience ni Misis sa pag-asikaso ng SA nya from Shaw and as expected nakuha namin mga standard freebies and reasonable discounts. Again Salamat at Mabuhay kayo fellow avanza owner.

you may want to try toyota alabang. alam ko me promo sila sa insurance, around 15K lang kasama na 3 years na TPL. look for ms. rina pilao 09228615280. yung sales office number nila is [02]8093430. based from experience, mas maganda ang kaya nilang i-offer kesa toyota dasmarinas.

Tinawagan daw siya last week ng SA, inquiring kung gusto daw namin ending 9 or 0 kasi yan daw available, pero dagdag pa kami 1,300 Php. Sabi ni misis, antayin na lang daw namin ma-release ang sa amin (we requested ending 4). why the additional 1.3K for what?

burjegol, 4:1 ang rotation namin d2 pero pwede narin umuwi ng 3 months kaya ok lang at si licristo as chris ang alam ko 28:28 yan, parehas lang tayo mga misis natin ang nagdadrive para pansundo sa mga bata at A/T ang kinuha ko dahil di naman makapagdrive sa manual ang misis ko. uwi ako ngayong july 10 at sana magkita kita tayo dyan sa pinas.
