    Update lang.

    May nagpareset sa akin gn error code sa Innova D4D model 2006, namamatay after ilang seconds after starting the engine kapag di inapakan ang accelerator.

    Ito yung error codes nya:

    P0088 – Fuel Rail / System Pressure – Too High
    P0093 – Fuel System leak detected – Large Leak

    May nag advice raw na palitan ang injector, di pa nga nacheck yung error codes, palit agad sabi ng isang mekaniko. I think ito yung error code ng fuel pump, yun rin ang sabi sa teambhp.com.

    Sinabihan ko na lang may ari na ibaba ang tangke then linisan yung filter mesh.

    Di naman madam maapektuhan ng scanner ang ecu ng sasakyan. Basta wag mo lang i-reprogram hehehe...

    kakabili ko lang ng 2nd hand fort, 2007 diesel model G a/t 4x2 sya, so far wala pa naman choking/stalling nangyayari, but in case mangyari yung scv problem, what is the solution? palitan ba talaga yung scv? or pwede repair lang? how much does brand new scv cost sa casa? and is it available outside the casa? sana di mangyari yung choking/stalling sa unit ko but i just want to be ready just in case. sorry if these questions were already answered, thanks

    sa mga nabasa ko, pinalitan lang ung SCV with a longer one. hindi ko lang matandaan how much.

    Marmai ang hindi nagpalagay ng bago na scv, regular cleaning lang sa denso ang kailangan every 5k km, PhP 1k ata bawat palinis, yan ay kung kakilala ka ng may-ari ng denso hehehe...

    Question lang ano kaya issue sa fort ko kasi around 1500rpm may vibration nd sound coming from the back or middle part ng fortuner.. turbo lag lang kaya eto? Any suggestion on how to fix it?
    2013 2.5g MT mga 1.5k km palang sa odo.. TIA

    Hindi magmanifest ang turbo lag ng vibration o tunog. Ang turbo lag ay magreresulta sa delayed or mahinang hatak. VNT ba fort mo? Lalong walang turbo lag yan kung vnt. Sa traditional na d4d actually hindi ramdam ang turbo lag. Patingnan mo na sa casa para sure ka na hindi maselan ang problema kung meron man.

    bakit kaya yung mga non vnt d4d walang tunog o sipol yung turbo pag aarangkada , samantalang yung vnt d4d kagaya sa mga montero sipol ng sipol yung turbo sa arangkada, sa montero kasi kahit mga non vgt humuhuni yung turbo , ganda kasi pakingan

    hindi kaya dahil sa mga intercooler na mga nakakabit sakanila

    Kapapalit ko lang ng SCV last week sa denso Cabanatuan siningil ako ng 6500 sa parts and 1500 sa labor. Pinalinis ko narin yung fuel tank siningil ako 900. Malaki pinagbago ng 2005 hilux. Ang ganda ng hatak parang bago ulit at pati konsumo gumanda din nag full tank ako kanina around 8.75km/l na sya, dati bago ko pagawa nakaka 7-7.5 km/l lang sya

    so all issues related to D4D engines is just because of the SCV? The new batch of D4D has a better SCV na? How about the EGR system( not sure if its the right term)? is it also something to worry about? or part ng regular maintenance dapat yun?

    i don't know.
    as far as i know, toyota never came up with an official announcement regarding these so-called engine "issues".
    and, in my opinion, these problems of "premature failure" were in the small minority of the units only. whether these were real malfunction or fuel quality problems, is unclear to me. in my case, they replaced my scv after 75-80K, so i am willing to list it down under "wear and tear"..
    what i do know, is the diesel innova has been the runaway bestseller for many years now, and may very well continue for several years more. the competition seems to have nothingl to pit against it..

    Basically very reliable ang makina ng toyota, even the d4d. Its just thatang krudo natin dito is mainly for puv use.

    Sir jay, kay jethro ka ba nagpagawa? yung akin 9,200 palit na supply pump and new scv na (longer version) plus labor nung July.
