Newbie here. Question regarding sa engine knock, ano na yun?

Ang naeexperience ko sa vios 1.3E automatic ay kapag nagaacelerate ako e parang ramdam ko yung pag shift ng gear like in manual cars. Normal lang ba to or ito yung engine knock?

Im using shell fuel save.

I also experienced the "engine knock" as described by dos2. Shifted gasoline from 91 (unleaded) to 95 octane at nawala, gumanda pa hatak.

yup nitro plus yung 95. 97 yata yung nitro plus-racing.

Hi Paps -

Yesterday, nagpa 5k PMS kami. Naisabay na din yung pagpalit ng pyesa. Bad trip lang at di ko matandaan kung anong pinalitan para mawala yung kalampag.

Upon taking the car home, I was eager to test it to see if the kalampag is gone. First few bumps, solid ang tunog. I told my wife that it does sound like it was brand new again. Few kilometers later, ayun, andun pa din yung same na kalampag. Sobrang nakaba-bad trip talaga. Even the noise from the dashboard, hindi din nawala. I haven't contacted Toyota again but will do so sometime next week.

I know that a lot here love this car and I can't blame them. Maganda talaga siya pero yung samin kasi, I'm starting to think na lemon ata to. This is by far the worst brand new car that we've ever had. On top of that, my average FC is 9.5Km/l. For a 1.3 engine car, this is also the worst FC that we've experienced.

Oh well. Hopefully maayos yung kalamapag. At this stage, I don't think it's worth that money that we're paying month on month.

ilang kms na odo nung vios mo, paps? im asking kasi sa akin ay nasa 1,500 kms pa lang. I could take note of this (knock on wood), sana naman ay di ko ma encounter he he he.

Sino po nakapag palit na ng headlight bulb? Nagpalit po ako ng Philips Xtreme Vision H4 at ok naman yung liwanag kaso hindi nagiba yung range ng ilaw. Dahil po ba ito sa reflector? Yung slanted part ng beam lumiwanag at parang makakasilaw ng mga nasa right side ng daan.

Nagpalit ako ng PIAA H4. Concorde ang store. Same lang ang cut ng headlight focus but much better visibility at night. For me no need for more upgrades.

May kalampag pa rin sa akin and the Casa keep on insisting na sa 2013 models lang daw may problema sa lower arm.

Sakin may tumatama din sa kaha padin.papa check ko sa ibang casa sa next pms.

If you got your car on the same day after PMS sir, I doubt na napalitan yung lower arms nyan kasi ang sabi sa akin 2-3 days daw sa casa to replace it. 1st PMS ko, ni-report ko na yung kalampag pero sinabihan ako na i-lubricate lang muna nila try lang kung mawala, kung hindi daw e i-report na lang ulit for replacement na. A few kilometers, ok naman, pero bumalik din ulit the next day kaya ni-report ko ulit para mapalitan na.

mga sir, sa meron po vios j. ask ko lang kung ok pa din po radio nyo unit nyo? yung sakin po kasi namatayan ako ng makina, tapos pag start ko d na nag open yung radio? ano po kaya nangyari dun sir? ( all stock pa din po wala pang ginagalaw sa mga wires)

question po on engine knock. may mga nagdescribe na tunog roleta po ito kung tama ang tanda ko. pag po ba may engine knock ay consistent yung tunog from cold start to acceleration to uphill or occasional lang po ito?
been hearing weird rattling sound but i am not sure if its coming from dash panels lang or from the engine. very seldom ku lang naman marinig tipong one or twice a month lang.
gen3 e at owner here using petron xcs most of the time due to bpi credit card rebate.
not sure if paranoid lang ako since i've been reading that most reported cases of knocks on vioses used petron.

Short roleta sound lang sya u hear pag apak mo sa gas pedal usually sa low gears to accelerate & going uphill. Pag idling lang may knocking na, malamang iba nang problem yan.

thanks sir. sinubukan ko tangalin yung fuse, pero medyo mahirap kaya battery yung sinubukan ko tangakalin tapos balik ulit. ayun gumana na ulit yung radio.

I saw one like that before sa Olx. Yung may GPS nasa 26-29K yung wala nasa 20K below yata, although wala na ko makita ngayon. For sure mas mahal sa Casa.

ask ko lang, meron akong vios 1.3E A/T half month old pa lang, nung isang araw hindi ko malipat ung gear from P to D. buti nalang naituro sa akin nung SA ko pano i-trouble shoot pag ganun. ano kaya cause ng ganun? mga twice na nangyari sakin yan. dapat ko na bang ireport sa toyota yan? thanks.

Ano ba compatible na bluetooth receiver para sa aux port ng vios? 2 months na kong pabalik balik sa cdr king kaso wala na silang stock nung receiver na nakita ko sa earlier pages ng thread lol
