I have a client who is selling his 2 cars: a 2016 4x2 Fortuner A/T Diesel and also a 2016 4x4 Ford Ranger A/T Diesel. Both with similar price.... which should I go? Is it not that that the ford ranger should be pricier that the two since it is a 4x4 variant?

What are the differences, if any, of the 2016 and 2018 4x2 Fortuner? Are the differences significant?
will you use it, or will you bayan sell it?

if you will use it, the choice should be not difficult, as one is an suv and the other is a pick-up. not everybody prefers a pick-up.

if you will bayan sell it, then peruse the used cars ads, get a feel of the ballpark figures, and see where you stand to make a larger profit.

if it is just takaw tingin, and you really do not need it, i suggest you not buy it.

Pickups are almost always cheaper than SUVs, so that top of the line pickups cost similarly to mid variant SUVs. This is true, most especially nowadays with the excise tax exempt status of pickups.

Generally, Toyotas also hold immensely better resale values than Fords.

If you're planning to buy one for keeps, I'd suggest you test drive both of them. Bring along your typical cargo and/or passengers even.

I'd get the Fort in a heartbeat. I'd only get a pickup if I need the bed.

Update ko lang sa fortuner 2016 G DSL A/T that I intend to purchase at 1.2M; the test drive was nice, the ODO show around 24,000 kilometrage. Can anyone confirm that this fortuner has no backup sensors, as I see none? Anyway, how much kaya if I would have a back-up camera, and not just sensors, installed by Toyota casa?

Is there a downloadable PDF file for the Fortuner's owners's manual?

I'm in Visayas bro so it's starts in F, and may kasamang sticker siya with a chip embedded in it kaya you need to cut out your tint in your front windshield.

Do we still need to cut out a portion of the tint even if non-metallic naman naka install?

    this is my opinion.
every year, we have to stick on, the new sticker.
do we stick it beside the old one? or do we cut a small window, stick the sticker there, and the next year, remove the old sticker and stick the new one in its place?

This particular RFID sticker is not renewed annually, sir. It is a "sticker for life" of the vehicle. That's how it was explained to me.

Instruction from the LTO on how to apply the sticker:

"Make sure that the space of application behind the rear view mirror is clean, dry and has no window film / tint applied."

No distinction between metallic / non-metallic.
