guys, im eyeing for this car, this would be my first car. after back reading the thread, i've decided and will go for this one.

does anyone tried Wigo going to Antipolo(to those using AT)?

to those who upgraded the sound system, what equipments did you add for added bass and what brand? having a two speakers would not suffice cause I like listening to music in high volume.

May I answer? MT yung sakin, pero it's basically the same engine, the same car, different transmission. If mine can go up Tanay, or steep entrances to parking lots without issues, the AT can do that too. Depends on the driver's skills nalang.

As for audio, I'm afraid I can't help; I couldn't care less kung anong quality ng sounds ang nilalabas ng speakers. But we do have members sa club na nakapag upgrade na ng sound system nila sa Wigo. If you want, you can post your question there too.

Actually, the difference between MT and AT is very much evident in a car with as little power as the Wigo. The torque converter robs you of that very little 65 horsepower so the difference is noticeable in acceleration, and fuel efficiency in traffic.

That said, I've tried the Wigo AT and as long as you stick to the lower gears, it doesn't feel too stressed going uphill.

Ahhh, I see. Okay. Hahaha sorry sorry. May difference pala, I thought there's little difference since, you know, same car. Thanks for the info! :D

I am yet again thankful na I got the MT.

The Wigo AT has no trouble climbing, but it's slow... and the gearing is too long, so performance is pretty pathetic.

The Wigo MT, on the other hand, feels peppy and powerful. Also much more fuel efficient.

If you really need an AT at these prices, nothing can beat the Mirage.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Hi Niky, would you recommend Mirage AT over Suzuki Swift 1.2 AT for the same reason as above? Thanks.

If you don't need the back seat, the Swift is actually a much higher quality car than the Mirage.

The Mirage has a softer ride, slightly better economy and a bigger back seat. The Swift has a nicer interior, is more fun to drive, and feels somewhat better built.

Personally, I'd still get the Mirage, but that's because I have a family. If you're driving alone, the Swift is pretty nice.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

OT: Sir meron ata talagang red hilux. Medyo light yung shade niya. Saw display units of these last year. Pero bihira nga ako makakita sa daan.

    Thanks sa sumagot.

Change topic, nakapag pa reserve na kami ng Wigo. Ano ba mas okay na tint Medium or Dark in terms of visibility and sunlight protection? Tita at Lola ko na nakasalamin ang gagamit din. Advise naman

kung kapwa vision-limited at matanda na.. i suggest light to medium tint only.. putting on darker tint is akin to putting tapa-ojos on the driver.. it somehow defeats the ease of being able to weave between obstructions on the road or the driveway..

and maybe you can install a curved rear view mirror.. it increases the field of view behind..
after i installed my first curved rear view, i never want to go back to flat mirror again..

Special request ata yun. Before i-release sa kanya nagbayad sya ng extra para i-repaint na ng planta. :D No idea how much that costs. May purple na Wigo pa nga e, somewhere in Binondo Manila.

May nagcomment din dun na magkakaron ng red na TRD Wigo. Wala palang daw memo sa mga agent.

Glad to hear nagpa-reserve ka na Sana makasama ka sir sa mga susunod na EB ng club :D

I think we would stick to medium tint. By the way Sir, yun naka-install na tint sa Wigo niyo came from Toyota which is Platinum brand?
