Normal po yan. Normally mas malakas talaga vibration ng 3 cylinder compare to 4 cylinder engine unless maganda ang engine mounting, engine support at transmission support ng sasakyan to lessen the vibrations. Same din ng mirage meron vibrations

We modify cars for work and we have to deal with the dealers with regards to warranty claim. And yes, they have to prove that the modifications were the cause of the problem. Most of the time, they just honor the claim. This is just based on personal experience, btw. . Different units, different dealers (different companies also since I transferred work sometime ago also).

^ no... depende sa design ng engine sabi nga... like for example ford's 1.0L 3 cylinder eco boost...

Ah ok. May sinabi kasi sa akin yung boss ko na in-design, hindi talaga stable ang 3 cylynder engine kasi hindi siya balanse. Kaya iniisip ko yung mga 3-cyl engine normally ganun talaga.

Im sori pero nainsulto aq slyt sa "pano kayo nakakuha ng driver's license?" Di ba pwdeng ngkamali lng frst start ko lang yun at hindi aq nagkuha at ngdrive ng wigo ko nung kinuha sa toyota..first hawak ko pa nga sa key and frst start..nafrst gear ng kuya ko para malock dw..dq lang nabantayan...careful nmn po sana sa pananalita...nobody's perfect...ikaw ba nung frst time mo hindi kaba nagkamali? Perfect ka ba?

Anyways, lessons learned...sorry sa napost ko di kasi aq makatulog sa kakaisip ng sinabi mo at least napalabas ko...ill be more careful next time=)

let's give the 3-cylinder cars a chance to prove themselves here..
we may not have too many 3-cylindar cars here in RP now, but they are popular models elsewhere..
as i recall, the daihatsu charade was a 3-cylinder car..

this early, i already read many positive remarks of them 3-cylinder cars from actual owners..

Motorcycle engines actually don't last as long as car engines because of the high revs. And balance is an issue on one-cylinder motors. But then, most of our old motorcycles are two-strokes... the new generation EFI four-strokes should have better engine longevity.

A three is inherently unbalanced, but so is a four-cylinder. This is why many four-cylinder motors nowadays come with balancer shafts or dual-mass flywheels to quell vibrations.

And yet, most people don't give a second thought to the "unbalanced" nature of inline four-cylinder motors. ;)
