I had a bad experience sa toyota cubao. They are now asking for additional 10k after ko nagfull down last week. Hindi daw umabot sa promo where in fact sila nagkamali sa color (grey metallic dapat-pero ang na deliver is silver). So i guess it's true may upgrade nga. Which i guess is okay na din kasi first choice ko talaga RED. Yeah!

sir, ask them to put the complete payment schedule in writing. then go thru it slowly..
they probably re-arranged the schedule, so's it would appear that the "down" is only 25K.. but what about the second down? will it be the week after? heh heh.
they may have hidden the rest of the usual 50K and above down payment, elsewhere where it would not get noticed by the excited buyer..

and if i may brazenly add.. if this "lowered" down payment is the deal-maker for you, then i hazard to say that you will probably be better off not buying now. your current financial status is, i fear, "sub-optimal".
ask yourself po, "can i live humanely with 9800 bucks less a month?"
and don't forget the maintenance and fuel and oil costs of driving that car..

but i agree.. having a car is nice, if one can afford it.. but if you have one and can't afford it, it's hell on earth..

    good luck.

once approved, you should be good to go and submit all the usual requirements (eg. 2 valid IDs, proof of billing, ITR, COE, PDC for monthly amortization) and downpayment. once all requirements are submitted and downpayment has been paid, you should be advised by your SA that you may expect the car released within 2 days. hth.

maintenance shouldn't be costly. availability of parts in the future shouldn't be a problem as well... it's a toyota!

re the "very" low down you raised on the previous page, it's too good to be true! i had a lot of talks with several SAs from different toyota dealership branches and yours really was the lowest! so, i agree and pls follow what dr. d advised to clarify the downpayment, else, baka mabigla ka pag sabay pumasok na si monthly amortization.

anyways, might get mine next wk, in red.

i encourage you to join the wigo facebook groups for more info and learning.

    Don't worry about the
maintenance so much. Its an entry level car thus mura lang din maintenance. More so if you have it done outside after its warranty expires.

Further its a toyota. Its known to be very durable.

    Enjoy your ride

Better you have a formal quote written para no surprises. Once your approved sa loan, scrutinize mo din maiigi yung loan agreement. Its indicated naman ang payment terms and schedule. usually its broken down into interest and loan principal. Make sure na ang total nya monthly is the same as napag agreehan nyo

i looked around.. yung mas mataas ng down (60+K), ay 1K less ang monthly... spread over 60 months..

bro mas malaki talaga ang gastos once nag shift ka from normal commute (jeep, bus, trike) to owning a car. unless lagi ka nag cab (which is technically mas mura parin vs. owning a car). kung di naman mahirap sumakay sa inyo ng puv, id rather advice not getting a car.

Between tricycle and Wigo as school transpo for kids, I'd recommend the Wigo. Mas safe mga bata sa Wigo.
