Coasting to a stop means 5 meters from a stop light, i put it in neutral. And start to brake.

Agree. You won't be saving on gas neither.

'buti na lang, brakes are cheap.
but i wouldn't recommend coasting, either.
the potential expensive accident negates the whatever meager savings the driver envisions.

Wouldn't putting the transmission to neutral before coasting to a stop place more stress on the brakes because there is no more engine braking assisting in the process of stopping/slowing the car?

Engine braking doesn't activate at such a short coasting distance.

    no big deal, really.
we are just asking the brakes to do what they were designed to do.

I wouldn’t coast in Neutral before a stop. I can modulate my braking to make the car settle to a subtler stop.

I’d want more control in a car than the perceived or insignificant savings in fuel consumption.

For the base variant (GL), does the sunvisors for the driver and passenger both equipped with illuminated vanity mirrors, or just plain mirrors, or no mirrors at all?

Replying to my own question as I have recently found some info, just in case others who will be reading this would have the same queries as I did:

An SA in one showroom confirmed that,

GLX = Driver and Passenger Sunvisor with Illuminated Vanity Mirrors (both)
GL+ = Driver and Passenger Sunvisor with Plain Mirrors without Light (both)
GL = Driver Sunvisor no mirrors at all (not sure about passenger sunvisor, as they don't have the variant on stock)

Hi and good day. To those who have the GLX variant, how is the cabin temperature during summer especially when you are in a heavy traffic?

Good morning. San po kayo nagpakabit ng plate ng vitara GL+? Front of my unit is plastic and no holes for the screws of the plate. According to the mechanic in Suzuki sta rosa, sa auto shops sa labas na lang pagawa. Please advise. Thank you.

    Hello Everyone,

Good morning! I just want to inquire if there's a new color for the GLX variant, parang Gray (pero two-tone pa rin)? I saw it sa Tropical Hut/Puregold Cainta. Wala kasing SA akong nakita that's why di ako nakapag ask kung may new sets of colors.

    Thank you!

My uncle bought a Vitara GLX almost a month ago. He really likes it. He says it rides really well, and does 15km/L on highways.

He needs more interior space, though, so he's now looking to sell it at a steep discount so he can get a PPV. Too bad.

The SA in Alabang offered me 50K discount for bank p.o. Anybody got a better deal or this is already a good one?
Not sure kung abot pa reply ko.. Hehe pero same sa case ko na bank p.o. din pero naka kuha ako ₱75K for a discount.. Pero Taytay Rizal po ang dealership..
