It depends on what you use the map for. The iNav map is an offline map while Waze needs a data connection.

If you need traffic conditions, Waze is your only choice given its crowdsourcing and analysis of user data.

Among offline maps, it appears to have very good Philippine data. I haven't tried a Garmin here so I can't compare to that, but I've tried Nokia Here and a couple of other offline map/navigation apps and I can say that this is far superior.

It can do the same tricks as a Garmin unit that I used in the States. For example, last night I tested the latest update by heading out to a place along Sucat Road from Greenbelt. The iNav map could tell me to enter the elevated road to Skyway along Arnaiz, displaying the lane to follow vis-a-vis the other roads/options. It also told me to keep left to stay on the Skyway to avoid the lanes that exit at NAIAX or Bicutan; it also told me to keep right as I approached the Sucat exit. It also made me u-turn at the correct intersection going to my destination (there's an intersection right across my destination where I could technically u-turn, but there's a no u-turn sign there).

I still need to test it more, though. It's not hard for a navigation app to have good Metro Manila data; the test will be taking it out of the city.

On a side note, getting a GPS lock seems roughly the same as using your phone for navigation. My car couldn't be located while inside Greenbelt parking, but GPS signal locked soon after I got out.

i turn the question around: what bank will refuse you a loan for a vitara?
if you satisfy the bank's requirements, i see no reason why they will refuse you.
but if one refuses you, there is a good chance the others will, also, probably because they have the same requirements.
best to find out by applying.
ketibs above gave a list of interest rates, for comparison.
whatever you choose, compare first among three banks. crunch the numbers well, then choose.
    good luck.

Gents, may you please enlighten me as to what the "beehive film" around the rain/headlight sensor is for?

Reason for asking is... I can't seem to make the auto-headlight (i.e. ambient light sensor) work.

    - Headlight switch on the lever, left of steering wheel has already been set to Auto
    - Headlight automatically turns on even if there is sufficient sunlight

I am suspecting that the 3M medium tint (full windshield) may have had an effect on the ambient light sensor and this beehive thingy? Although I've read some posts online that this should not be a factor as long as the tint has been 'carved' around the sensor so as not to cover the lenses.

Please advise and share whatever info you can before I raise this to the dealership.

    Thanks in advance!

The dots are called "frits". The frit pattern behind the rearview mirror is called a "third visor frit" which keeps the sun from blinding you when you glance at the mirror in daytime. The frits should not affect the sensor since based on your pic above there's a hole for its lens.

Sorry can't post the link because tsikot blows it up to a hundred lines. Found the article on jalopnik.com if you want to read more.

Wow that was quick! So it seems like these so-called 'frits' are not actually part of the rain/light sensors per se. I learned something new today, thanks!

By the way, the photo's not mine but that is exactly how the sensor looks on the Vitara.

Hmmm.. now I'm not sure what's wrong anymore. Faulty sensor perhaps? Tint probably producing a shade that reflects back to the sensor? Can't find any setting on the console related to the sensors.

Baka may inputs din yung ibang GLX owners? Thanks!
