Any suggestion for a good shop that does good vinyl wrapping?

Decal Republic. Dyan ko din papagawa sakin once I get my unit, although de-chrome lang, especially the front grille.

Wag mo pa-repaint, sobrang sayang ng factory paint. Vinyl wrap lang is the way to go.


May mga rumors din na new colors for the GLX na monotone, pero wala naman makapag confirm. Ughhhh.

Pag ako na-asar I'll just get the HR-V or the Civic.

Thanks! I inquired with Chuck of Decal rep earlier and he quoted around 5k for the wrap (roof and pillars and spoiler) and is still nego. Will be getting my unit tomorrow afternoon na. enjoyin ko muna siguro na white siya at pag di ako nagsawa baka di ko na ipawrap hahahaha

Puro blue and yung orange ang recently na release.

Parang pahirapan na ang release ng glx. Iniipit kaya for next year for the excise tax? I intend to make reservations sa most dealerships in mm para kung sino na lang mauna. Mga agents gusto mataas na reservations, mukhang gipitan na. Least priority talaga ang cash payment.

this sort of thing always happens when there are more buyers than there are stocks.
it is really difficult to give you what they do not have.
i do not think they will make more profit with that excise tax in force.
you will all just have to wait for yours to arrive.

I also believe that there is greater demand than supply right now.

But aside from the excise tax, the Vitara should see a price increase next year. I've been told that the current prices are introductory only. Maybe supply isn't being increased with a future price increase in mind?

There's another angle to this. It may be true that Suzuki is "controlling" the release of its Vitara units until the time when new SRPs are in place. However, based on a reliable source, there's a ton of motor vehicles (most if not all brands) being held at the port now since pertinent documents are not being issued by the government. Apparently, "systems upgrade daw" which to me is... well, to express in an educated manner... suspicious. If this is true then there's high chance that availability of units is not the issue here, but in actuality, the 'ninja moves' that is being pulled off by certain individuals/entities.... and we all know the reason why.

Car manufacturers probably don't want the SRP to go up...

Remember, WRT to the excise tax computations, TAX is the reason why the SRPs go up... Given this scenario, car manufacturers earn the same for each car sold.

If they add additional on top of the tax... ibang usapan yan, but I suppose they won't, kasi it will risk making their vehicles more uncompetitive vs the competition...

The guaranteed no increase price by January as per your SA is only a verbal. Ask your SA to make it in black and white and signed to make you sure na di magbabago presyo nila kahit by January marelease. SA only knows sales talk. [emoji3]

I have done it in writing together on my reservation payment receipt.
It's true SA knows only sales talk and reached their quota.

Just got my unit today. Nothing that I can complain of, for now. Hahaha Hopefully I can comment on its performance in a few days time.

GL+ pala ang tanong ko not GLX

The headunit in the GL+ is the same as the 1.2 Swift. It appears to be ready for a reverse camera given that the Vitara GL+ headunit also has RCA input.

Thanks, planning to buy GLX but cant find a dealer, so plan to just buy th GL+ and install the reverse camera so that’s why i’m checking my options.

Anyone planning to have the stock spoiler changed? Parang anliit nung spoiler e.

btw, I have a reservation in Suzuki Alabang, GLX variant. Ang sabi akin ng SA ko wala daw dumating na turquoise color. Pinapili ako sa dual-tone na gray/black top and black/white top. I opted for the gray.

My mod plans are as follows:

1. De-chrome of front grill. Prolly matte black
2. side skirt paint to black
3. kapalan yung color sa boundary ng sa arch sa gulong.
4. highlight black sa DRL

Sana may masuggest kayong mahusay...kahit plasti-dip or decals within Makati-Paranaque-Taguig area lang. TIA!
