Nasa is your unit a gl+? Would you happen to know what's the swicth on the left side between the button for the fog lamps and the oarking sensors? It doesn't seem to do anything.
EDIT:
Did some digging and as it turned out, it's the ESP but then again it doesn't seem to do anything when you press the button, it doesn't give you that switch feedback it's as if there's no switch behind it.

I drove out to Nuvali yesterday just to stretch the Vitara out a little bit and test mixed highway/city driving. Some comments:
Cruise control is a godsend. Not sure which other cars have the feature at this price range, but it's great to get it in a car at (the current) under a million. Cruise control and speed limiter work as advertised. So does automatic climate control.
Steering is light and engine response is good. A quick light tap does the trick in overtaking. I didn't feel like the Vitara struggled at any time. The drive was mostly on flat roads, though, and I didn't really make the engine work very hard.
Fuel economy appears good, especially if you compare the Vitara to the vehicles in its class. It looks like I'll end up with a km/L reading in the low tens for the first full tank, which is good. On the highway, use cruise control when possible to really help in this.
I noticed some wheel noise (especially on asphalt) starting in the 60-80 kph range. I've driven on Continental tires before and it's the same thing I experienced. Maybe I should get quieter wheels, but I'm also thinking of a little more sound deadening on the wheel well.
If a rear window is open/pulled down, there some wind noise on the same side front window if it remains closed. The solution is to open the same side front window as well.
It's a very capable driver, worth the investment of moving up from a subcompact.
My friend bought a turquoise GL+..saw it in the flesh yesterday. All i can say is, Suzuki nailed this on the head for this category. Mahaba na daw ang pila as per their sales agent.

Test drove my unit last saturday and sunday around Valenzuela-QC area. Passed by the smart connect interchange to test its features. Here are some of my initial observations:
1. Cruise control and speed limiter was indeed a bliss to use considering the price point of this vehicle and comparing it to other cars in its class.
2. Body roll is very minimal especially when cornering at higher speeds.
3. Power is definitely there when you need it. Was able to try climbing up a ramp with a 45 degree approach and shifted from D to M and had no issue at all.
4. Suspension is good for a vehicle of this height.
5. NVH is tolerable and can be managed by turning on your audio system, though you really can hear wind noise from the front pillars on higher speeds.
6. Seats are OK and I think would be comfortable during long drives.
7. HU is OK though I thought it would also be an Android unit like the one in GLX. Speakers are really good when you know how to tinker the equalizer and not depend on the presets.
8. Glove box compartment is small, comparing it to my old Fiesta.
9. Steering wheel is really light on lower speed almost giving that feeling of inaccuracy but gives a bit of weight when cruising on higher speed.
So far I'm really satisfied with my purchase especially when you compare it to other vehicles that you can buy in this price range. My only gripe though would be when closing the doors, it feels like you need to give a really hard push when closing them, was used to my Fiesta which has heavier doors and only require a minimum effort when closing them. But nonetheless, Vitara is still a very good buy.
Also I don't think that the front bumper is just 1cm higher than other sedans out there as someone mentioned it in this thread. My garage has a ramp with an approach angle of at least 30 degrees and really had to maneuver my Fiesta back and forth so that it can go up the ramp smoothly. But with the Vitara, ride height is really good and required me no such thing.
Suzuki really outdid its competitors for this particular segment and definitely we'll be seeing more of this vehicle in our roads in the months to come.

sirs, premium gasoline ba gamit ng vitara or regular unleaded pwede na?
Sabi ng agent ko pwede daw regular unleaded. Agent discouraged me when I asked if pwede na ang 91 RON, though. Go for at least 93 RON daw para hindi hirap sa hatak.
I'm currently using Caltex Platinum (95 RON). May discount because of the Landers membership card.
Edit: Manual says "You must use unleaded gasoline with an octane number (RON) of 91 or higher (or RON of 95 or higher if it stated on the fuel filler lid)."
sirs, question lang, i was checking he maintenance schedule of suzuki website? I saw every 4months is the preventive maintenance, do we need to follow that so that we will not void the warranty?
This is the correct pms interval.
