Hey guys, am new here. nice to meet you all!Am looking for my first ride. am kind of interested with the suzuki jimny since i've seen it 2 yrs ago. i would like to know your insights and comments about the Jimny whether Bnew or 2nd hand. any ups and downs and about fuel efficiency,engine efficiency, basic maintenance and accesories, also for both bnew and 2nd hand . And oh yeah also where to buy one, 2nd hand preferrably at the meantime hehehe

i seem to have noticed that only a few jimnies have been resold or 2nd handed..is it because it is reliable ? or the opposite ? or is it because maintenance is hard ? or is it because it is rare ? hoping for your input people..thanks eheheh

Mura at cute kasi ang jimny kaya napabili sila. Ang di nila alam.. Matagtag ang ride nun compared to escape, crv, rav4 and the likes. That's solid axle + full ladder chasis of the jimny versus full independent suspension + unibody construction of the mini-SUVs. Add mo pa ung cramped cargo space and limited passenger space. Pero kung sa patagalan lang din.. mas matibay ang jimny. Kaya sobrang ganda ng mga pre-owned units. Mura na, mababa pa mileage. Sabi nga ni Otep, It's a Mini-Landcruiser.

My wife really finds the Jimny adorable. Lalo siyang bumilib nung napanood niya yung video ng Jimny in off-road conditions. Sinabi ko sa kanya, medyo matagtag at masikip yan sa loob. Wala daw siyang pakialam.

Kunsabagay, given the cuteness factor, ladder-frame chassis and four-wheel drive capability of the Jimny, I wouldn't care about the relatively harsh ride myself. This subcompact (micro?) SUV is not for the weak.

we love our Jimny JLX a/t. it will celebrates its 4th Bday sa November and it clocks 46T kms change oil, spark plugs and Air filter lang ang maintenance nya. balak ko pa bumili ng isa para sa akin naman.

am kinda used to rough rides eheh..to be it seems that the jimny is an economical and functional ride..i have a lot of ideas for pimpin that ride..provided that the generator of the jimny may accommodate it eheh..any pimpin ideas ? ehehe i dnt have one but have plans for pimpin

The AT Jimny is the best buy. Jimnies don't fade easily, are not prone to dents, and make up for the small size with fun driving, practicality, fuel economy, & toughness. A lot of them come from the dealer with very high tire pressures ( >35psi). Tagtag can be cured by lowering tire pressures to 22-24psi, changing to aftermarket shocks or fluid rear shocks, and if you are that sensitive, wearing adult diapers ( jok lng ). No need to go to that extreme, lower tire pressures can markedly change the ride. the Jimny is light enough for that pressure. I own a Vitara & I find it underpowered even if it's a manual.

some say the manual jimny is better than the automatic version..i haven't tried a jimny yet but i would prefer a manual JLX jimny =) to get quotation u may contact suzuki directly thru suzphil*suzuki.com.ph ..take care y'all!

sir kung sa suzuki makati ka kukuha contact mo si jay-ar pinon. or sa kanya ka magtanong about dyan. salesman sya dun. kabisado nya yan kasi minsan na naming napagusapan ang jimny. sya din pala pres ng Daihatsu Club Phils. mabait yun. at masasagot lahat ng tanong mo bout jimny.

QUESTION. does anyone know engine ng jimny 1.3? nakita ko kasi sa suzuki website its M13A pero sa mga Japanese websites its G13B. maybe 2000- onwards is G13B engine 2004-onwards revised body is M13A? if anyone knows kasi maganda engine ng M15A sa swift, so baka maganda rin yung engine ng jimny?
