Hey guys! I just bought a 2nd hand 03 Jimny A/T last Feb 4 and I love it! I am now selling my 06 Civics in favor of my newly accuired jimny. (). I immediately replace the stock HU (it sucks!) with an Alpine that can play CD, IPod, USB etc. Also replaced the front speakers to 4" MB Quart reference component system and add a set of 5.25 MB Quart component systemat the back. Replaced the horns with a Bosh Benz horns (BING! BING!) And last upgarde I made is a Holiwood Bike rack (Im a Mountain biker) So far thats all I have with my new baby.

The TS must like tight spaces because a Jimny is something like a phone booth inside, just barely enough space to fit four people shoulder to shoulder.

I would have preferred to use a Honda Jazz (1st or 2nd gen) if I need to transport a bike. You can fit a whole bike or two inside a Jazz without need to remove the front wheel. Just roll the entire bike when the Jazz's rear seats have been folded down.

I drive a Nissan Patrol on weekdays, but on weekends, I can't wait to hop on the Jimny!

So far it's pretty stock. Just changed the HU to a Pioneer DEH2050MP. The former owner had put in a V12 amp, tweeters, and self-powered sub already. Outside, I removed the roofrack crossbar of the former owner (left the OEM roof rails in place), removed the bulky sidesteps also (from the former owner), and had the OEM accesory full tire cover repainted (the whole tire is covered unlike the rim-cover only of that comes standard).

Also running those big Bosch horns, OEM Cibie foglamps, Raybrig roof rail lamp over the driver's door. That's about it. Under the cargo floor lurks some emergency supplies like tow straps and jumper cables.

hi guys..it's my first time to post here..anyway..i'm planning to buy a car within the year. I've been looking over some possibilities here. First of all, I am a lady, but I'm not used to driving sedans/auto (is that what they call it?). I want to drive an SUV. But not the really big ones. I've checked the Suzuki Jimny and maybe its the thing that I've been looking for. Not too big and not too girly for me. So what can you say about Jimny? Is it worth its price?

i think 4 (2 front + 2 rear) lang talaga seating capacity niya --- no more. hehe

maliit kasi ang jimny and to think 2 doors lang siya kaya oks na oks talaga pag ikaw lang mag-isa most of the time.

Does anyone know kung mag kakaron ng promo ang Suzuki Jimny? I want one, the JLX Manual to be exact. I saw some Suzuki agents from Kalookan at Robinson's Ortigas yesterday. They have the APV on display. They don't have any promo for the Jimny right now. I was wondering sa ibang Suzuki dealership kung meron promo, kasi pag 20% of 750,000 eh malaki ... 150,000 downpayment pa lang. Nagpa compute ako ... aabot ng 211,000 lahat na kasama LTO, Insurance, at Chattel.

Nabasa ko na din yun mga comparison between Vios, Avanza, at Getz. What I like about the Jimny is it's high ground clearance, panlaban sa moderate na baha. Plus it's durability, panlaban naman sa mga pot holes ng daan ng mga kalsada natin ... built like a tank daw ... hahaha

Gusto ko din malaman kung may mga unwanted sounds ba kayo na naririnig sa cabin like creeks and cracks ng interior? Isa pa po ... dun sa mga matagal ng owners ... ano pong dislikes nyo sa Jimny ngayong matagal nyo na sya na drive? Pasensya na sa maraming tanong.

i really don't know maybe they have old stocks pa or maybe they are pocketing the discount heheh
