April 14th, 2013 12:43 PM #1571hanngang hindi inaabot ang air intake mo theoretically as what have been said by the sa and other suzuki expert indonesia(there was a photo taken in indonesia where the apv type one was tested(brown) up to the length of the wheels fording as testing pool nasa dyrayo pa ata ito or poster) but take it with a grain of salt, never gamble your automobile unless it is an amphibian =)
ibang topic naman, has anyone installed a cabin airfilter on their ac? like the torque brand in other autos?
forgive my grammar, feeling a bit woozy

the deepest that I experienced is up to knee high - around 2 to 3 feet.. before reaching the bottom part/opening of the doors. that was because of the need to go to work... so i gambled it that time. no issues experienced up to now it was almost a year ago.
but I will not do that again -- unless its an emergency and with priority.
btw, i already changed to a cone airfilter -- so the tubing from the outside is not anymore that useful for me.. just to bring cold air in to the engine compartment.

April 16th, 2013 08:31 PM #1574All the bearings were still good and they cleaned all the parts
today.
They put back the polished pinion this afternoon.
According to them, the pinion & ring gear were very tight wherein
the shims were damage. The spacers were also not installed correctly
by the previous shop. The pinion & ring gear were not damage though
and just undergone polishing today. They will now try to return the
correct spacer and shims.
I also went to Banawe St. in Quezon City this afternoon to buy SAE140 gear oils.
Looks like they can fix the humming noise.

April 16th, 2013 09:05 PM #1575I just found out today that the two brake drum of my apv needs to be
reface due these scratches inside maybe made by a worn out brake
lining. I think the previous owner kept using it wherein the metal part
of the shoes were already in contact with the drums inside.
Bought a set of brake shoes and pads today. The store offered
me a bendix brand but I decided to get the replacements.
The brake shoes cost about 1,100.00 Php.
The brake pads cost about 750.00 Php.
I experience a vibration on the brake pedal when I am braking
down from 100 kph. My mechanic advice me to also replace the
brake pads to eliminate this problem.

*Keno, if same R Specs brake pads yan tulad ng nabibili sa mga hyundai/kia shops, kindly observe them kasi based sa experience ko, matigas material nya...nakakasira sa rotors...imbes na pads nauupod, rotors ang nadadali...paalala lang...

Katakot yung steady jack ng mekaniko mo..hehe
Mas Ok yata GL4 sa axle. Madami siguro skipped PMS ang previous owner
Re vibration when braking, i end up replacing the front right rotor & new pads. May tama din ang wheel bearing, tuyot na.

April 17th, 2013 07:52 PM #1579Thank you sir victorevolution, I think when CASA test drive my apv and heard the noise,
they did not check it thoroughly and just assumed it was coming from the transmission.
Anyway, it still pays to have somebody else take a look at the problem. Although the car
shop that fixed my apv did not do it correctly, I think this machine shop now knows how
to correct the problem.
Thank you sir mateomarco, that is the sad thing about buying replacement parts
were in it may not be as effective as the original. I think the original brake pads
cost about 5k Php but I still bought the replacement because of the price difference.
Anyway, I will observe this R specs brake pads and post feed backs.
Yes sir 12vdc, the steady jacks were scary and my apv was parked on the road!
If something would hit the apv, the jacks will definitely loose it's support on the car.
I was not familiar with those GL1, GL4 or SAE-90 or SAE-140. When I was at the
store, I decide to put the thicker one and they recommend the SAE-140.
I assume that the higher SAE value would be thicker? So that the gears would be
quieter ?
Yes sir, I think the previous owner did not do those PMS because the differential
oil was very dirty when I had it change last year.
I hope the new pads will solve this and if not the shop will need to reface the
disc rotor. I will have my mechanic check the bearing also, will see what
happens tomorrow's test drive. Thank you again for the info sir.

April 18th, 2013 12:42 AM #1580*kenko 3k lang po yung pads sa casa, i've been to suzuki a while ago
but still the replacement that you bought are still way cheaper
The assumption that the vehicle runs on the road, the ECU is more than likely a match. Try cleaning...
***HELP*** iding problem
