I agree with this. Ang dami ko nakikitang nagsasabi mag-pickup na lang ako, mag-innova na lang ako, 4 seater lang, etc. Parang hindi pa nila na try mag long drive sa old jimny. The best you can do is 80kph, above that di na efficient sa fuel economy. Sa handling naman, dahil maikli lang yung wheelbase niya, hindi komportable lalo na sa expressway. Pangalawa yung space, 2+2 lang talaga ito, yung 2 upuan sa likod di komportable yun for any average sized adults. This is not a pasenger car, I think of this as a toy for rich people.

If I add Montero GT 1.72M + new Jimny 1.1M = 2.82M. Yun sobra 300k pede ko na lang utangin sa credit card. Magugulat siguro mga kamaganak namin sa next Sunday dinner, kasi biglang nag ka 2 4x4 brand new ako sa garahe.

Hinde nga ako nakatulog kagsbi imagining myself in those two cars. Dati kasi bago ako makatilog imagine ko lang muself inside my new montero tulog ako . Na stress yata coz my mind cant resolve my imagination, grabe ang epekto ng Jimny na yan, parang na mind trick ako

U see ive always wanted eithee a jeep, lr defender 90 or g wagon. One the price sobrang mahal i cant justify using it here sa Philippines.

Tapos eto na japanese made na box car that can be mistaken like them. Tapos affordable pa.
social climbing wise - 9/10

Tapos yun times inuutusan ako ng wife ko na bumili ka ng gardenia sa 711 at 12mn or rush hour.
Manoeuverable at madali iparada - 10/10

Always fascinated why the LR90 is a legend. I think this Jimny will follow the same footstep as years go by.
Classicabillity factor -8/10

Yeah ohmigosh oo nga pala. This is japanese, uniqlo is japanese. Para ako naka kei car sa tokyo taposs suot ko either stripes na fitting or plain fitting uniqlo or even my uniqlo jjackets.

Alam ko na kumbakit ako obssessed na obssesed dito, coz it relfects my minimalism qualitues that i share with Japanese culture. Its so mimimalist when I went inside the car last night

Agree. New everything and since there is no perfect engineering, may mga minor things pa that they need to fix/improve.

Baka nga 2 years pa bago mag stabilize ang production.

IMO it's not Version 1.000 anymore. It's a global platform and the rest of the world already have their hands on it...

So, if there are any known issues, we will surely be not the first ones to encounter it...

Sa PH maybe potentially the first batch could experience some (isolated) issues but aayusin din naman nila yan, at worse case recall na kung recall, mas mabuti yun poactive kesa sa pagtakpan ang issues... :D

Looking at the bright side, longer waiting time means more time to save up for DP (the higher the DP the better)...
