Still, despite the Jimny’s competencies—its awesome looks, low ~$20,500 asking price for a base model that comes with A/C and power windows, awesome off-road design, and OK driving experience in the city—the Jimny—a vehicle that I, for a long time, was borderline obsessed with—fell from grace on the Autobahn.

And the main culprit is a five-speed manual transmission with a fifth gear that’s only one-to-one. That, along with the short 4.09-to-one axle ratio that gives the Jimny good crawling capability, and the small tires, leads to the engine spinning at about 3,750 RPM while pushing the car 75 MPH down the highway.

meron na display units ang mga dealerships kahapon dumating dito sa cebu and i was able to check out the GL A/T variant (wala pa daw GLX).

doesn't look as small as previous gen in the metal and maluwag nga front seats particularly the leg room.

sadly wala pa daw test drive units.

kumusta ba aftersales maintenance ng Jimny at Suzuki PH dealership in general? every 3 months ba PMS nila?

currently a honda owner and never owned a suzuki yet but i am seriously considering this little big boy. :D assuming my patience won't run out in the loooooooong waiting time.

sorry bro i stand corrected, 4mos pala.. pero na iistretch ko naman up to 5months, low mileage kasi. usually i ask for pms quote muna, then i ask the SA to remove mga unnecessary pare less sa total cost. you can always refer naman sa manual.

hydraulic pa din daw eh, electronic steering na kaya yun Vitara. hydraulic + solid front axle, hindi yan matitiis ng babae driver. short pa kaya turn angle nyan, mabubuset lang asawa nyo dyan
