Just wanted to share updates on my car na rin (silver 2.0 XS) -

Any tips guys on increasing fuel efficiency? I'm doing only 15-16L/100KM Sometimes, even 17 or 18. Granted that is mostly in heavy mandaluyong-makati traffic on weekdays, and the usual zips around the metro on weekends. Ang gaan-gaan ko na nga sa accelerator, with RPMs mostly below 2000.

Ako 14L/100km on the average. Gets better only if I go out of town, or if I drive around on Sundays when there is no traffic. Di yata kaya ang pangarap ko to be at 12L/100km.

Pag stop and go traffic, talagang ganyan ang average. Pag matagal na naka-idle, ang taas ng consumption. What I did was to:

1. change routes - longer route, but the stop and go traffic isn't so bad;
2. try to leave the house early and the office early (or late) to avoid the traffic.

I got mine february 8 pero 100k pa rin discount though yung avt is allegedly 75k worth.

Anyways just like to share na nakatikim na kaagad bangga yung scooby ko while parked, punit yung left side bumper little below the headlight washer, most damage sa fog lamp area, buti walang nabasag na ilaw except dun sa accent na bumangga. the estimate for repair is around 34k just for the bumper,paint,brackets,absorbers and items na di ko na maalala. no stock so 1 month waiting pa after order. sigh na lang ,consolation is my insurance and di naman na break yung current record na bangga agad after only 3 days from delivery back in 2007.

Sorry to hear that, Flip. Hope the guy who bumped you has insurance. I got dinged on my rear bumper last weekend as well. Will have it repaired at Buendia Auto Center this weekend.

Here is my FC yesterday.. Mukhang maganda ang crusing ko .. From, GMA-Edsa to Alabang (SLEX route)

I get a consistent 6 to 6.2 kilometers per liter on my FXT, city driving (that's about 16 to 16.5 liters per 100-km). I don't baby the throttle either.

Yep.. 5:00PM.. hehehe.. Minsan din lang yan.. kaya ko post.. I usually get 16-17 L/100km with my FXT.. Worst is 20-21 kapag may gunnit.. Smooth cruising lang ako.. no gunnit...

unfair talaga Gov't mine no sticker went back and forth many times na still no sticker. Pag tayo late sa renewal me penalty sila late for almost a year ( still no plate sa motorcycles namin almost year na). Sa sticker naka 5x balik-balik pina iwan na lang iyon O.R. para makapila na daw.

Got my plates din about 3 weeks ago no sticker din. Wala pa stamp sa or cr na no sticker so do I keep my plates off nalang?

thanks sa sympathy sir. girl siya sir and meron naman insurance but im a bit worried kasi peoples which has been getting bad reviews here. bearable pa naman ichura and mas naging takaw pansin.hehe.

anyways, any of you guys experience rattle sa door at certain bass frequencies pag nag play ng music? if meron, ano po ginawa nyong solution? meron kasi sa akin sa front passenger door. TIA.

I get some rattles driving around with the driver's side window rolled halfway down.

Since I only drive with the window halfway down for a few seconds (ie. parking, etc...) no need to ask the subaru greenhills to tinker with it lest (from my experience with other brands and dealers) it gets worse.

You could check if any clips of the door siding came loose.

Also, where can you have back sensors install? How much would the back sensor cost?

Better sa casa for warranty concerns. Price will vary depending on the car alarm you specifically want to get and what functions it has, normally around 3k+ for Autopage.

Just came from MI Edsa and was told that it comes with immobilizer, and not car alarm. Car alarm cost will be around 6,500. Don't you think it is a bit expensive?

Nope. The 2.0i-L doesn't come with back up sensors. The Turbo does come with reverse camera. I was told that 2 eye sensor cost 6,500 while 4 eye sensor cost 7,500.
