I got mine in exactly 10 business days. Looking at the date on the OR/CR though, it was ready in about 5 days.

Subaru is not a premium brand ... they are at par with Honda and Toyota ... and yet their parts price(s) are much more expensive than Honda or Toyota ...

Subaru is a niche brand. They are not like Toyota, Honda, or Nissan. A limited market means limited network. Law of supply and demand applies to niche market models.

The same thing applies to Toyota, Honda, or Nissan vehicles with limited local sales volume. You don't expect specific parts of an Accord to cost the same as those with a City or Civic within the local market. It's different though in the US where the Accord/Camry outsells the smaller Civic/Corolla thus their volume dictates a better supply of parts.

Subaru sells more Foresters than the Mazda CX-5 which is also a low volume seller ... but their parts cost almost twice as much ...

SA didn't even inform you that first batch of xv's will be coming in late sept/early oct? From what dealership is this again?

    The usual culprit..batch processing haha

If you really need it early though I'm pretty sure you can convince your SA to get it earlier from LTO. I believe their liaison goes to LTO just once a wekk; you can probably request him/her to make a special case for you since you need it sooner.

The first ever 2018 XV that was released to a customer here in our country was last September 23 according to my SA. And no he did not inform me of any of the dates. This is from Subaru Manila Bay.
