It's good that Subaru has built a lot of those tech in the new XV and Impreza. I only have the rearview, cruise control, and traction control as driver assists in my FXT. I barely even use the cruise control and the traction control activates easily once the car's computer senses it loses grip on a wheel. The paddle shifters, turbo timer, and x-mode proved to be more useful.

October 25th, 2017 10:22 PM #313for mine para lang ding honda, i just noticed from others when theirs get a bit older, like 6or7 years upwards tumataas na maintenace cost, pero the longer the brand and the more sales it has, rarami aftermarket parts at surplus sa market...like honda in the early 90s, the older gen ayaw kasi baka daw parang ford, biglang umalis, plus mahal ang parts back then... pero look at honda now..

October 26th, 2017 11:46 PM #317It costs about the same as Honda and Ford.
Still deciding if base Forester, base CX-5, totl XV, CR-V gas.
I saw one totl sa EDSA, color orange, sobrang angas!
Other considerations were the Tucson and Sportage. Kaso sa labas lang maganda tingnan, sa loob and safety features sobrang under-spec'd.

Among your choices, the best ones, imho, are the CX-5 Pro and the TOTL XV.
The interior of the CR-V gas feels like a generation behind; the Tucson and Sportage have good engines but are seriously lacking in features and safety; the Forester will have an all-new release next year while the engine of the XV is better compared to the base Forester.
In terms of looks and outright power, tho, I like the Sportage best. Features-wise and safety-wise, the TOTL XV is tops.

Agreed. At 1.4M the base Forester is very tempting, hindi tinipid sa features. Pero I think baka 2019 pa lumabas ung all-new model satin. Baka early 2020 pa nga.
Yung CX-5 pro kase naka halogen lang yung hl and tl. Then yung mags very undesirable for me. Well yung loob nga kase daw yung maganda, and you spend most of the time inside, pero important kase sakin yung fully spec'd na para wala ng upgrade itch, para wala din issue sa warranty.
Next year pa naman ako, tingin ko good time to buy next year, maybe may eyesight na yung XV. Also if may "sakit" yung CR-V I guess lalabas na din. Excise tax lang kalaban (not for the CX-5 though).
