This will not be allowed by Subaru... 2 Airbags are located at the Seats. Pag nilagyan ng Leather seats, safety is sacrificed. And init sa pwet.

Is there anyone having issues with their back up camera? The dynamic orange grid lines for when youre turning while reversing in mine just suddenly disappeared.

You can toggle the ON/Off of the lines sa HU under SETTINGs

Ok lang naman ang acceleration for our purposes. You just don't get the feeling of speed unlike other cars kaya akala mo walang nangyayari then biglang oops 100 na pala

Yep it's the circle icon on the display between the tacho and the speedo. Unusable na ang cruise control buttons when that starts blinking. Narereset naman when the engine is restarted.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm planning to do but no space to store extra set of tires and gusto ko actually yun design ng stock na 18" rims so nasasayangan ako. Pero bakit kasi 18" at hindi 16" ang size ng stock rims haha walang AT tires na kasya tuloy.

I forgot to update this thread but after a while of looking around, we ended up getting an FJ instead.
Medyo malayo from the original choices (CX5, XV, XT)... in fact when we started looking it's not even one of our considerations but turned out it fits the bill for maybe 90-95% of our requirements.

- There's only 2 of us, so the suicide doors are not an issue
- I got my 4WD (not AWD) vehicle for all those biglang liko moments
- I always wanted a vehicle with lesser bells and whistles, FJ is a bit old school isa lang ang USB port at isang cig port at least big screen na HU
- less electronics
- traditional A/T trans
- better height and light off-road capability
- not too keen on moving/HID headlights, FJ has halogens
- comfortable ride (very)
- bigger tires

Cons vs. the XV,CX5, XT:
- relatively less safe than the XV (2 airbags only)
- a bit old school/outdated (if you consider that a con)
- wide and bulky (again if you consider that a con)
- gas guzzler? I don't live around the metro and I don't think it's that bad as long as you don't get stuck in traffic

Pinadeliver ko lang siya, never went for a single test drive (on any vehicle) before I bought the FJ. This is the 3rd time I bought a vehicle without test driving and my first gasoline-powered vehicle and so far I am loving it!

My Friend got the new XV with 50,000 discount a week ago. i think you can still negotiate this with your sales rep, you can shop around any subaru dealerships to ask how much Discount they can give you.

Subaru discount is usually 80T ...

Last I inquired I think mga june or july ata they were giving 100k discount. I'm planning to add another car to garage din either xv or mux.
